#trash orchids

Ok plantblr, help me help my newest trash orchid. What is this and is there anything to be done about it? I'm thinking maybe fungal?

This was before I cut off the spent flower spike (but after I pulled the dead yellowed leaves)

And close ups of the area of concern after I cut off the spike.

Suggestions? I wasn't going to bring her home, but the roots actually look pretty decent so I figured I'd give her a chance.

Oh yeah, my other trash baby is growing a new leaf!

Well, only two of my trash orchids are still alive. But they seem to be doing okay. And I'm starting to get tired of them hanging out on my kitchen counter. So it's time to move them into their wall planters in the upstairs bathroom.

I found this planter on thingverse.com and husband 3D printed some for me!

Now I just need to decide where I'm gonna put them.

This is for sure the wall im gonna hang them on. I still want to paint more leaves on the right side at the top.
