Orange Blossom: If you could pick the gender and appearance of your child, would you?

I don’t think so. Personally I feel like raising girls and boys each comes with their own set of challenges and privileges, neither one being better than the other. They’re both unique, further emphasised by the child’s own personality. And as for appearance no.. What if I got bored with what they looked like, or realised I messed up or just designed them according to the time’s fashion? I think I’d rather be surprised and relish everyday in seeing the child in wonder then being like “Ah yes product I designed”.
