Even me, as a bevin shipper , reboot's bevin's relationship as a frenemy is really- I don't want to say that g-starting word yet but omg
They treat each other as part of their summer vacation + have each other's contact (one episode clearly said kevin didn't have any contacts, when was it added later? Or after that episode?) + always think of each other despite their stated enemy relationship + SO focused on their fights.
I even suspect that part of the reason kevin is working with foreverknight is to make it easier for him to stalk Ben.
And ben mentions kevin a couple times when kevin isn't around ↓
+One episide Ben told Gwen if he didn't come back after he left, go tell Kevin he smelled like an old man's dirty socks, seriously?Hes not even there.
I do remember one episode where gwen asked ben where did you just go and ben replied oooh bruh fighting with kevin, very causal.
They're just used to it. Kevin enjoys picking on Ben and Ben actually enjoys it as a kid's fight&playing around…? Ben started to discover family and emotional issues behind kevin and no matter how much they said they dont like each other, Ben always offered to work with kevin first. On the other hand kevin avoids ben's good intentions because of his personality, but instead is the first one to disbelieve and notice that there is something wrong with ben when he joins foreverknight and saved Ben serval times during the seasons.
Of course there is more than that and I haven't finished watching season4 and the movie yet, these are the little clip I shared with my friends and some plots I remember so far!
I still love os and uaf's bevin the most but reboot surprised me, they're different but you can find some similarities and the energy here.
