SALT WATER CURES EVERYTHING💦💙 #mermaidmondays with @alisonsadventures for our #trashtotights contest : we make our teeki tights out if RECYCLED PLASTIC BOTTLES to reduce our impact on the planet as manufacturers AND consumers. the fashion industry has a poor environmental track record specifically with chemical dye runoff & water contamination. we use a water-free due-free process at teeki in order to steer fashion away from this unnecessarily dirty system! each pant is about 25 recycled plastic bottles. plastic never biodegrades, so we are trying to reduce the amount of this ubiquitous pollutant by recycling it into cute yoga pants !
