Hey guys! It is me here. Before I begin starting my actual presents to the community, I have some things I would like to say (aka a long read!) to all of you!
It has officially been 1 year since Trashy Big Brother premiered its first season well actually when this is posted it will be in a few hours but shhhh. Despite the rough times and the lazy times, I am so happy to have gotten the opportunity to host all of you (most of your first games as well) and now be able to see each of you blossom into completely new people and players. Even if you are casual watcher or someone who applied (maybe multiple times rip), it truly does mean the world to me. Growing up, I was never the type to open myself up or just have fun and instead I just lived in an anxiety filled world and it is thanks to you all, that I have been able to open up my personality a bit more and share it to everyone and not just the select few. Occasionally this means my bitter and shady personality does emerge so nothing is perfect yet so while I have watched you guys grow, you have also seen me grow and change and I am so glad to have been able to do it with you guys. While it is no secret that occasionally I may argue with some of you, all of you made Trashy special to me and so no matter what, we are ohana.
As many of you may know, I was not originally supposed to be hosting this game AT ALL! The idea for this ORG was created during Big Brother Galaxy that many of us played in the early fall of 2015. Mike, Rodney, and Madison became best friends (something I was upset about cause um Rodney and I were homies first duh???). Randomly after the season ended, Mike and I were in a BBTC and I jokingly asked him if I could host and surprisingly enough, they said yes! At first I literally had no idea what was happening for most of the production time I was there. I think I started right as apps were closing and we were giving interviews (lmao at that awful idea). It wasn’t until the season started and continued into multiple that my fellow hosts started to refer to me as the “Boss”. The fame and fortune…. I truly am the Fame Monster.
…….However, nothing I could have ever had done or ever would do would be possible without the help of the best hosting staff in the world. Occasionally we are messy and honestly I think that’s what makes us great. We own up to our mistakes and we continuously are trying to improve from past seasons or what we have seen in other orgs. We continuously try to actually interact with our houseguests and make the game as exciting as it can be while still keeping the host morals in check. While the houseguests are the main part of the series that the world sees, it is the actions behind the scenes that make this game running this long so I thank the 5 of you that have never let Trashy fall <3
Whew ok, this letter is mushy and long so I am going to just say look forward to the other activities we have and even though 99% of you probably do not give a shit about anything that I write, do look forward to the other things planned!
