They’d been staying awake talking to each other, Sal settled in Larry’s lap. It was supposed to be lighthearted, but one topic came up after another, what they should’ve done, what they’re doing now, and... the future. What’s gonna happen next? Soon? Later? “...I just wanna love you.” That was really all Larry wanted to think about at the moment. There was a hesitation before he continued, mumbling under his breath. “I just wanna learn how to, somehow... be loved myself.”
