Date: 07/13/16   Location: Ho Chi Minh airport

I arrived in Vietnam late last night to immediately sweltering humidity. After making it through customs, arguing with a taxi driver, and getting lost, I finally made it to my hotel for the night. And quite honestly, I spent the evening getting rid of stuff from my backpack and watching Gilmore Girls… no regrets ;)

 I thought about it, and decided the craziness and hustle of Saigon was just not the place for me right now. I want to relax and ease into Vietnamese culture in a slower-paced city, so I went to the airport and bought the cheapest flight, which was to Nha Trang. Nha Trang is a beach-side city in central Vietnam, which is exactly what I want right now. Not to mention the humidity there is exponentially less than in Ho Chi Minh! And although I have to wait 8 hours in the airport for this flight, I am excited to see what Nha Trang has to offer.
