If she was being honest, she wasn’t a huge fan of where Travis lived. Not that she didn’t think it was nice -- she did, it was an amazing thing to see rain fall in just one part of the massive forest. However, having to always bring out an umbrella when visiting a friend was a little taxing. The pay off was worth it though considering how much she enjoyed Travis’ company. She took a few seconds to enjoy the rain, to watch it fall, and then she headed towards the familiar cabin.
Leah stood outside for a few beats -- one, two-- and then she knocks despite knowing that the door was probably open. When there isn’t a response, she heads inside, nods to the mice that always seem to be there. A few seconds pass and then she inhales and lets out a roar right there in the middle of the cabin like it’s just a normal thing to do. “Travis, we have to get moving or the fish will start to migrate.” A pause. “Maybe? There is a lot of questioning to be done on the migration pattern of fish in Elswood.” Another pause. “I know we said fishing, but this might be a little more interesting.”
