What’s Going on with Gina Kirschenheiter?
When Heather Dubrow confronted Gina Kirschenheiter on why she has been distant since they filmed season 16, the edit implied that Gina went on talking for a while.
However, I did catch that she mentioned that her boyfriend Travis Mullen didn’t have his kids, and that it was tough time for them as a family.
That reminded me of a story about Gina that I didn’t want to write about on my blog, because I didn’t believe it.
But it must have been a difficult experience for her.
When Heather told Emily Simpson about Gina’s radio silence, she wasn’t surprised at all.
She had experienced it herself in season 14 when Gina was going through a horrible period in her life. Which made me wonder if Gina isolates herself when she’s feeling troubled.
RHOC wrapped filming season 17 in November 2022, and in June 2022 Radar Online reported on a domestic incident between Gina and Travis.
It all started with Travis requesting for an emergency investigation as he accused his ex-wife of keeping his kids from him as he hadn’t seen them since May.
She responded by accusing Gina of pushing Travis down the stairs with his kids present.
She claimed that their eldest child "partially witnessed" the alleged incident after hearing a loud argument between Gina and Travis late at night.
She claimed that they were arguing about Gina’s drinking habits, and pointed out that Gina has got a DUI.
This happened when Gina’s life was falling apart in season 14. She was under a lot of stress because of her ex-husband, and she made some bad decisions.
Fans are speculating if Gina is taking Ozempic because of her weight loss and her announcement of stop drinking alcohol.
But this could be the reason why she stopped drinking. She told Heather that she had a “come to Jesus moment”.
Divorces and coparenting cases are difficult to navigate through, and there can be a lot of toxic feelings involved, so I take his ex-wife’s accusations with a grain of salt.
Especially since Gina is a victim of domestic abuse herself!
