Travis was sure to straighten out his tie as he climbed the stairs to the loft and knocked on the door. He'd heard all about the unfortunate investigation they once had over Derek's run-in with the murder of his sister, not to mention the faked report of Derek attacking the school by four students, or so he read in the report about the famed man, so Travis was sure the dark-haired man wouldn't at all be too thrilled for yet another cop to be knocking on his doors.
"Mr Hale," he said with a clear of his throat. "I'm here about a murder that happened near your old house--- a different murder not that of your sister because we solved that--- and I'll just shut up" Once again Travis was making a fool of himself, and all to the empty hallway because the stupid oath hadn't even opened the door up for him.
