Last night, I stumbled across a room of over a hundred Koreans while waiting for the TRB International Reception. I had been attending the #TRBAM since 2016, and this is the first time I have ever heard of the Korean Transportation Association in America (재미한인교통협회?), who hold an annual meeting at TRBAM. I then found myself in a Thai restaurant packed (definitely beyond capacity) with said Korean professionals. This profession brings me to interesting places and situations.
