BAEK COULDN’T HELP but repeat the words in his head over and over again: right your wrongs and start new beginnings. it’s the advice his therapist had told him a few weeks prior and had been pushing for him to do. for the most part, he had been successful — apologizing to his family for the trauma he put them through, to his teammates families for not being able to take the pain away and to people here and there that he acted selfishly with. but, there was one person, the last one on his list, that he knew for a fact was going to be the hardest to apologize to. it was nora.
he had wronged her by accident, but still — he had wronged her. the thought of it made his chest hurt, and the anxiety that he was trying to get away from just came rushing back. this was going to go horribly, he had already prepared for it, but had to start somewhere and nora deserved the apology more than anything else in this world.
flowers clutched in one hand, baek found himself repeating the words to himself out loud. “ right your wrongs and start new beginnings. ” he mumbled one last time as his fist raises to knock on the girls door. there was no going back now. / @trcnscribe
