I have always had an interest in creative crafts made by Indian Artisans so I started ‘Treasures of India’, a store offering a dazzling collection of rare, ethnic handicrafts sourced across the length and breadth of India.

The numerous cultures of India share a rich history of art and heritage. Treasures of India is a celebration of their talent, regional expression and spirit of enterprise. It is a virtual  paradise for lovers of art and culture, looking for exclusive and uncommon artifacts with a touch of class.

The store offers a delightful range of products crafted from brass, paper, stone, earth, clay, terracotta, papier mache, jute, wood, glass and other interesting materials. The products can be broadly categorized as home décor, kitchen accessories, fashion and office accessories.

My background in Clinical Psychology took me on a different path. As an individual, I have always been inclined towards helping the differently abled. This topic holds a special place in my heart. I wanted to create a platform for the differently abled individuals to showcase their creativity. I found that the products made by these artists in India have limited exposure and are currently not at the forefront in the handicrafts category. To overcome this challenge, we launched ‘Beautiful Minds’ a special section which is dedicated to the crafts made by special artists.

To support the cause we recently organized an exhibition to showcase their exemplary work ranging from recycled to utilitarian products. Their special talent was not just well-appreciated but visitors also bought articles in large numbers.
