Friends are like gas stations. -Some are a 'gas and go' variety. They don't take a lot of time, nor do they give a lot in return. Their gas is inexpensive. No frills. Don't expect an emotional car wash or spiritual detailing to accompany any 'friend time'. Bare bones. Single purpose. -Some are like the gas pumps that are at local stores, like Fleet Farm or Piggly Wiggly, or at a casino. You get a good discount on their products, but not much else. These friends are single purpose. You know when to seek them out, and vice versa. But don't expect full service from them; it just won't happen. - Then there are the 'full service' friends. You know who they are. They are there, always open, 24/7. With emotional oils, lubricants, washer fluids and kleenex to wipe your tears if needed - and even will have a car wash token for your spirit if you need it. These friends are your tribe. You can count on them, just as they count on you. They offer food and drinks to satisfy your hungers and thirsts. Treats that salve your desires. They try to be there for you in every/any way. They are your tribe. (Yes, I repeated that!) ** Now, my question is, what kind of friend are you? You won't be the same to everyone, that's the truth. You will be a 'gas and go' for some, while a precious few get your highest octane and full service. ** Treasure your friends. 💜💜💜 #livingaGr8fullife #treasureyourfriends #drinkthedamncoffee https://www.instagram.com/p/CRlqDWDMO4B/?utm_medium=tumblr
