Book Review: Treasure Your Love by J.C. Reed
First off, I have to say that I loved the two previous books in this series, but this one just didn't seem to hold my interest. I loved the foundation that was built in the first two books for Brooke and Jett, but this 'conclusion' seemed to ignore the growth that each character had over the previous books.
The two main characters seem to revert back to their previous insecurities which was disappointing and for some reason the story line in this book just couldn't hold me like the previous books. I liked the dangerous mob style scenes from the previous books and felt like this book focused too much on those elements instead of the growing relationship between the two leads. Also I felt a little let down about the whole baby element in the story. Brooke goes through some extremely scary and dangerous scenes, but seems to bounce back quickly with everything fine with the baby. Not, that I'm saying that they should have lost the baby I just wish the rescue element of one scene in particular would have been written better.
Overall I have to say this was disappointing conclusion to the series as I feel that Brooke and Jett were at the exact same place in the relationship at the end of this book as they were at the end of the last one.
