Tree tshirt design v5
This feels better to me. It now feels like the tree has a body with arms and an eye in the center.
Tree tshirt design v4
Added color and cut out the base of the trunk. Something still feels missing. I think I need to be a bit more explicit in creating a silhouette of the invisible trunk.
Maybe I can have a cloud cutout and floating in the background. Another option might be to create a second set of leaves on a side branch.
Tree tshirt design v3
Now we're getting somewhere. This is still a pretty shitty wireframe but the concept is starting to form. The idea is to make a tree with invisible wood as the trunk using negative space.
I'm thinking 3 elements will be needed to pull this off.
1) the branches + leaves shape
2) a shape to represent a hole in the trunk
3) a grassy knoll with the base of the trunk cut out.
Tree tshirt design v2
Working on the shape of the branches here. It feels less evil but still lacks character...
Tree tshirt design v1
Here is the first cut at a wireframe. I like the idea of the trunk cutting away at a solid oblong shape for the leaves. Right now the trunk needs a ton of work.
Tree tshirt design v0
When I designed my forest tshirt I ended up with a series of arrow shaped trees that were pretty boring. So now I'm going to try a design to see if I can come up with a new tree concept.
