Inktober Day 1: Edea Lee + Outfit I saw in a Dream

…no seriously, she was wearing this outfit in a dream I had and I sketched it out ages ago. I figured since I haven’t inked in so long, I should draw somebody that’s familiar to me! Since Edea is my normal go to girl, I figured she was the best choice! I already noticed things I need t be more careful of, like sketch line weight, but here’s hoping I can improve by month’s end!

Inktober Day 6 - Magnolia Arch + Sundress

I got called into work today, which drastically cut into my time to do anything artsy today. As a result, I had to push requests and a gift off a bit, and I decided to draw somebody I was familiar with instead! Magnolia is another character I love a lot, so I had no objections to drawing her today!

Inktober Day 14 - Silque + Vestal Garb

One of my earliest requests that I received for inktober was from @seasaltmemories, whom asked for Silque from Shadows of Valentia! I thought that since my theme for this month is outfits, and Silque is a holy woman, I’d dress her up as another kind of holy woman from a different series! I had fun mixing the two designs, and I hope you like it!! (Also for convenience sake, most of my pieces will be in this style until I have more time.)

Inktober Day 3: Ringabel + Bravely Babies AU Outfit

I wish I could have done a better job drawing this, but in all honesty I’m surprised I even got this done. Today was worse than yesterday, and I don’t think tomorrow will be any better. I always find joy in drawing Ringabel though, especially like this... Almost 50 years old and still as beautiful as he ever will be. I always find some comfort when I draw him or Alternis...

Inktober Day 12: Chompina + Sheep’s Clothing

One of my “salt-ridding” requests (which I plan to do most, if not all of them, this inktober), mentioned a chomper, and you know, chompers are pretty cute! I decided that if in Bravely Babies the Lees can have a pet Frosti, then the Arriors can have a pet Chomper. So I present Chompina the Chompette in her own sheep wool’s cape! She probably enjoys rounding sheep with Theo and the Quad Squad, and is spoiled rotten by them too. Tiz just wishes she’d stop biting everything they own.

Inktober Day 11 - Tiz Arrior + Wedding Outfit

We interrupt your salty experience to bring you a doodle of Tiz for BD’s 5th Anniversary. An anon asked for him as an inktober request, so I figured drawing him for the anniversary would be a good idea! I would have drawn something with the entire crew, but I’m really pressed for time right now with some big projects that I have to do :’D

Inktober Day 13 - Zealan Dim Lee and Bee (Braev Lee) + Casual Outfits

...specifically casual outfits inspired by dad. Anyway, a bit ago I read @komatsujo‘s planned and altered endings for CiD, and the when reading the alternate ending with Bee, I couldn’t help but think of Zealan. I mean, they both cross dimensions for familial reasons, and they even both look mostly like their dad but with mom’s eyes!!! That automatically made Bee a good boy in my book.

I’ve wanted to draw the two of them together ever since, I finally got the chance to! The design for Bee took a lot of trial and error, but overall I went with something that was kind of a mix of Ringabel and Beta!Alternis. If I had more time, I probably would have done a load of concept work to go with it, but I still do have a few notes!

He’s taller than Zealan because it was stated Bee is taller than his dad, and Zealan is the same height as his father.

His hair has something similar to a flatter version of Beta!Alternis’ bangs, while also sporting Ringabel’s sideburns and hair flippies.

I gave him earrings out of habit since I draw my Lee boys with earrings, and it didn’t click until after inking it was possible he didn’t have any.

I wanted his clothes to be a bit baggier than Zealan’s to emphasize he covers up more in order to prevent himself from burning.

The fluffy collar is supposed to mimic the shape of Edea’s BD collar, just thicker.

He received the “face Zs” as some people call them because they’re a part of how I draw Ringabel and Zealan, and I really wanted to show that connection???

I just wanted him to look adorable overall because HIS NICKNAME IS THE CUTEST.

Inktober Day 15 - Polaris + Beta Design

Spending a bit of time working on a new OC design! This is Polaris, a celestial filled with spunk and a fighting spirit! I’m positive this won’t be her final design, but it’ll work out as a base! I know for a fact I’ll be working on her design a lot more once I have the free time!
