There’s an interesting reason why this small treehouse property in Bentonville, Arkansas is listed for a whopping $1.25M. It is located in the home town of Walmart headquarters and apparently, the Walton family that owns Walmart is sinking a lot of money into the town, doing a lot of cool stuff, and pricing the locals out.
According to the locals, the photos hide that it’s located in the middle of town, on a busy 4-way stop intersection.
It’s a nice treehouse, but so overpriced.
As you can see, it’s 2 levels.
It’s a beautiful treehouse, but for $1.25M you would expect to get a larger home on a larger lot.
The tree house has a garage door in the living room that opens to an outdoor space.
Sleeping loft.
This is the larger home on the property, so you would either have a tenant or an Airbnb in the treehouse, if you wanted to live here.
The sleep loft is accessed by a spiral staircase in the kitchen/living room.
The kitchen island is placed against the sofa in the smallish space.
It’s a great place, but the price...
The sleeping loft is small.
Sliding doors open to a patio and outdoor kitchen.
The tree house is closely overhead.
A bowl-like tub flows into the pool.
Both buildings provide a total of 2bds. and 3 baths at a total of 866 sq. ft. The lot is .46 acres.
What I don’t understand is that comps like this in Bentonville, sold for $340K and less.
