Off to the side quietly staring..... with a bird perched obnoxiously on her shoulder. She's given in. This is her life now.* RAMMIE: *Sips coffee and stares* ZAMAYA: *it takes her way too long to notice her, and when she does, she ends up flailing in surprise after she double takes.* F*©K! ZAMAYA: how long have you been standing there?! RAMMIE: ....That's not too imporrrtant. *scoots out* RAMMIE: But hello. RAMMIE: How arrrre you? ZAMAYA: *eyeballs suspiciously.* ... okay... ZAMAYA: i mean, i probably can't complain. ZAMAYA: i will anyway. if i can think of something to complain about. ZAMAYA: but f*©k if i can't right now. RAMMIE: That's good to hearrr. *walks closer now* RAMMIE: I hope you'rrre enjoying the ship whille it's arrround. RAMMIE: The rrrresidents too. RAMMIE: Not that they'rrre bad but they can be rrrude or weirrrd without rrrealizing it. RAMMIE: May I join you herrrre? ZAMAYA: *scowls a little at her game.* ... knock yourself out. ZAMAYA: it's pretty alright here. ZAMAYA: guess i'm just biding my g*dd@mn time until we end up... wherever we're ending up? ZAMAYA: skaia? ZAMAYA: better than avalon probably. RAMMIE: I like Avalon... forrr some rrreasons and not otherrrrs. RAMMIE: But Skaia is going to be interrresting. RAMMIE: *peeps at the game* What is it you plan on doing? ZAMAYA: *shrugs. she's playing katamari ...* i dunno. i mostly do baby sitting gigs and whatever the f*©k else i can get my hands on. ZAMAYA: i'm what you call a misguided youth. ZAMAYA: or a lazy B!+©#. ZAMAYA: whatever you prefer. ZAMAYA: either way. ZAMAYA: not super ambitious. RAMMIE: Hm.... I wouldn't say misguided. RAMMIE: Yourrr "ambition" could be in the trrravel. RAMMIE: Orrr just that you like to do that. ZAMAYA: euuggh. who says i even like the travel? i mean, i dunno, i guess it's better than being in one place. ZAMAYA: maybe. ZAMAYA: maybe i'd like to be in one place, if all the places i've been weren't garbage. RAMMIE: *Pfft* Well. What place wouldn't be garrrbage? RAMMIE: What is the ideal? ZAMAYA: *goes wall eyed. she's never really thought about it like that before. when her eyes focus on the game again, she taps at the buttons a little aggressively.* any place i feel comfortable i guess. RAMMIE: *Zamaya please....* Those seem like easy enough rrrequirements. RAMMIE: Depending upon how picky you arrrre. ZAMAYA: my standards are pretty F*©K!NG high. like, basically everybody gets my goat, so i gotta be someplace where nobody is P!$$1NG me off... and i just!! can't do all the societial pressures i usually gotta deal with, being a femm jade blood of all F*©K!NG things. ZAMAYA: like, oh, you're a jade, so clearly you're gonna nurture me. ZAMAYA: B!+©# i can't even take care of MYSELF. RAMMIE: So I've noticed. RAMMIE: Rrreferrrring to both things. ZAMAYA: yeah, guess you'd know... except i see you fussing over people all the time. RAMMIE: Yes.... I do do that. RAMMIE: In all good conscious I couldn't let them keep doing.... all the things they do. ZAMAYA: ... *SNRK.* i mean i guess i can't fault you for that. ZAMAYA: there's some real destructive m*+#erf*©ker$ out there. RAMMIE: There arrrre. *Eyes Zamaya* RAMMIE: So I frrret. A little at least. ZAMAYA: *WRINKLES NOSE as she's eyed.* you fretting over my @$$?? RAMMIE: ........ RAMMIE: Maybe. RAMMIE: A little. RAMMIE: I mean. RAMMIE: You fall overrrr a lot. Sometimes. RAMMIE: Frrrequently. ZAMAYA: YOU FALL OVER A LOT SOMETIMES FREQUENTLY. ZAMAYA: except not at all. ZAMAYA: you're as graceful as a g*dd@mn... idk... ZAMAYA: swan... RAMMIE: Oh..... thank you..... *eyes the bird on her* Although. I've had enough of avians. RAMMIE: But thank you still. ZAMAYA: yeah uh... WHAT'S WITH THE BIRD??? it's just kinda CHILLING... RAMMIE: It's.... kind of a prrrick. RAMMIE: And won't leave me alone. RAMMIE: *sips coffee* ZAMAYA: okay... where did it come from tho?? RAMMIE: I caught it as a joke forrr "Thanksgiving". Then it wouldn't leave. ZAMAYA: LMAO. that's what happens i guess. ZAMAYA: when you try to have fun? ZAMAYA: or something. RAMMIE: That's prrrrobably the lesson the univerrrse is trrrying to teach me. RAMMIE: But I mean. I don't always listen to warrrnings. ZAMAYA: *grins at that* eheheh... yeah. i can be a real spiteful b!+# towards the universe too but $#!+ i think i earned that right with the cards i've been dealt. RAMMIE: Werrrre they parrrticularrrly good carrrds then? RAMMIE: That doesn't seem so bad. ZAMAYA: what?? no, i'm SAYING when you've lived a particularly $#!++y life i think you're allowed to be kind of a b!+©#. RAMMIE: Oh hm..... I guess kind of. RAMMIE: Not so much that you'rrre allowed but it just happens. RAMMIE: I feel like morrre people would whip out the "Life Is An Ass" carrrd if it werrre univerrrsally accepted. RAMMIE: I could see how it'd be harrrd to be a nice perrrson. At some point. RAMMIE: You just. RAMMIE: Get tirrred. ZAMAYA: ... yeah, dude. *saves her game and turns it off, setting the device in her lap.* i'm pretty d@mn tired. *she glances at the other jade, squinting a little... but not so much at her as she is at herself for opening up so easily around her.* ZAMAYA: you ever get tired? ZAMAYA: you know... of b*ll$#!+ like that? RAMMIE: Yes I do... tirrred of life and also death apparrrently. RAMMIE: Orrr I've been rrrejected by both. RAMMIE: Point being: I was killed once. And so I used that metaphorrrical "Get Out of Jail Frrree" carrrd. RAMMIE: So I've been a little morrre.... I don't know. Open to things, including being a bit of an ass. RAMMIE: It's all experrrimental rrright now. ZAMAYA: *eyes widen a little* $#!+ dude... so... *pauses* you're a drinker? RAMMIE: Yes. But I trrrry to moderrrrate. RAMMIE: .... RAMMIE: Just kidding. RAMMIE: About the alcohol joke parrrt. RAMMIE: But I do drink blood in sorrry of moderrration. RAMMIE: Until I'm full I guess. RAMMIE: "Full". RAMMIE: It's an odd sensation. ZAMAYA: *SNRRRKS at the corny joke. what a nerd...* that whole situation sounds weird as $#!+. it's like... a thing i'm aware of as a jade. ZAMAYA: do you think its weird to be... more afraid of dying and coming back then just dying? ZAMAYA: uhhh... F*©K. that's probably a crap thing to ask. ZAMAYA: sorry. RAMMIE: A little but I've mused the question enough to become desensitized to it so you'rrrre fine. RAMMIE: I won't lie it is verrry disorrrienting. RAMMIE: The prrrocess of coming back to life sucks considerrrably. You feel prrretty grrrosss forrrr a long time. ZAMAYA: *stares down at her lap.* that's pretty cool that you can take it in stride like that. i dunno when this happened to you but... if it were me, even if it were SWEEPS ago i'd STILL be b!+©#!ng about it. i'd be so f*©ked up. *fidgets a little and then stands.* ZAMAYA: you're really cool rammie. ZAMAYA: i gotta... run tho... RAMMIE: Ah.... hm, alrrright. Then Have a nice evening. We should talk again. *small smile* ZAMAYA: yeah. *face is a little jade. she's embarrassed.* okay f*©k!ng BYE. *and then she scrambles away on her long gangly legs. hopefully she doesn't trip.*
