I tried viral pistachio kunafa bar

I was thrilled to try their new rose pistachio kunafa chocolate bar. As the Dubai chocolate has been viral on the internet for quite some time now, and everyone seems to like it quite a lot

It's basically pistachio paste and kunafa (vermicelli) fried in butter then encased in chocolate. It has an extreme crunch with a strong, creamy pistachio paste. It's good, but not as good as people seem to enjoy. (To each their own.)

Okay, so this chocolate bar? The milk chocolate on the outside is something else. It's super smooth and has a really unique flavour. All the chocolate bars have the same milk chocolate coating on the outside. Obviously, it's from Dubai and it doesn’t taste like your usual milk chocolate! You’d really have to try it yourself to understand; I don’t think my description does it justice.

As for the filling. It's a cheesecake kunafa, and honestly, it’s way too sweet for me. Creamy with a nice crunch, yes, but the sweetness overpowers everything. I also picked up their blueberry cheesecake and dates & saffron chocolate bars, so I’ll be sharing my thoughts on those soon!

If you’re a fan of innovative chocolate flavours, the Dubai Kinder Kunafa Chocolate Bar by Meltz is a must-try. I’ve previously had Dubai chocolates from brands like Vlinder and Bostani, but I genuinely enjoyed Meltz's version the most!

Unlike others I’ve tried that are overloaded with vermicelli, Meltz has the perfect balance. Lightly crunchy with a smooth, creamy Kinder chocolate centre. It’s truly indulgent~

What also stood out to me was the packaging. UAE-themed with creative illustrations of the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab.

It’s also available internationally, unlike Vlinder, which is manufactured exclusively in the Kingdom, (Riyadh) and Fix Chocolatier, which is solely produced in Dubai.

Meltz offers other creative flavours like Blueberry Cheesecake, Dates & Saffron, Pistachio, Cheesecake, and Oreo. I’m definitely planning to try the Oreo Kunafa and Pistachio Kunafa next!

Crispy Peanut Butter & Biscoff White Chocolate Bar 🧡

It has a creamy peanut butter with crispy lotus biscuits. It's rich and extremely sweet!

I tried two more flavours of Vlinder chocolates

I was quite disappointed when I first tried their Crispy Baklava & Pistachio chocolate bar. But this time, I decided to give Vlinder chocolates one more try and I suprisingly loved these two flavours! They have five signature flavours from which I have tried three (I will try the next two flavours some other time!). I most definitely loved these two flavours, especially the Crispy Kunafa & Pecan chocolate bar!

It's filled with pecan cream and crispy vermicelli, while the other one is filled with bueno cream and crispy vermicelli. These chocolate bars are very sweet, rich, creamy, and crispy. It's quite the filling! Two heavenly bites are enough to make you sleepy 😅
