Latin type in non-latin origin typefaces is really interesting in its similarities and peculiarities...some of it just looks like strange versions of Times, but these all have their own interesting individual voices. Some have poor spacing, but most of these look very considered and not “awkward” or “off” (as they are often described online) to me. Graphic design trend incoming??? I especially like Batang.

Cool uses include: Sim Sun for the new Fleet Foxes album cover and this awesome poster by Yale graduate @franziskavirgili that uses a version of Adobe Myungjo (i think).
