Redskins LB Trent Murphy banned for four games of 2017
Washington Redskins linebacker Trent Murphy has been suspended by the league for the first four games of the 2017 season for violating the NFL’s performing enhancement policy.
Murphy had a breakout year for the Redskins in 2016 tallying nine sacks, 47 tackles, and three forced fumbles.
The league through a spokesman announced the ban.
