// I havent played tresspassor yet but here you go//
//gaias parts written by @ol-freezerinos . gaia is her inquisitor// //Loki is my inquisitor.// Your gut turns, wrenching with panic as the mark on your hand aches and burns just like it had before. This all was supposed to be over. You where supposed to be living with the love of your life. Cozy, in a bed, together with a dog. But instead, you had to stop a qunari invasion and deal with the mark trying to consume you. Again. And save the world. Again. And you had to tell him that you where dying.. God you couldn't do that to him, not now, not ever. But you had too.. You had to tell Dorian, else he hears it from Gaia first and gods know she is not going to be gentle about it, as gentle as one can be about death. How where you going to tell him. How could you even tell yourself that now, days after it started growing again, that you where dying. And the only person who could potentially fix it was missing. How was he going to tell Dorian? ***************** Gaia feels the twinge in her hand and pauses turning a page in the book in front of her. She stares down at her hand, wrapped in a thin, decorative cloth. Krem notices her pause, looking up from his spot on her couch. Slowly, she frees her hand from the cover, watching intently as the twin mark that had lain dormant for so long began to pulse back to life. She knew that something terrible was going to happen again And loki was on the other side of the world. **************** He knew that he needed to contact Gaia somehow, tell her what was happening and that he needed her now. He used his locket to contact Dorian, At least let him know something was about to happen and to contact the others. Loki wasn't exactly handeling this well, considering he was going to die because of a stupid mark and never get to hear his dear ma'nhens voice again if this mark succeeded in taking him up. But for now, he would send a letter to gaia, hoping it got to her before she had a chance to leave for his location. ******************** Gaia was already to skyhold before the letter made it past the Orlesian border. Asking krem to stay behind while she sorted everything out was hard, but she rather him be safe than in harms way. The first thing she did when she arrived was attempt to alleviate some of the marks power from Loki. The pain was almost to much, but it bought them time. Time was precious now. Even when gaia proposed cutting off the damned thing, she was thinking ten steps ahead. She would take on all of the mark first. By force if necessary. She wasnt going to let loki die. Not when the world still needed him ********************* Honestly his sister could argue with a brick wall, yet so could he. Loki was not about to let Gaia bare the mark, he had rather die than let her. But at the same time, he wasn't quite ready to have his arm lopped off either, even if it ment his survival. They spent nearly a week fighting over the mark, the rest of their crew arriving during the weekdays and everyone was arguing sides, though no one was one hundred percent for Loki or gaias plans. The decision finally came though, when they had no choice. The Qunari where through the mirror, and so was Solas. That asshole. Loki would have words with him after the fact, but for now he just wanted the damned orb gone. With Dorian and Gaia close behind he had reason to keep his temper in check, looking back to make sure Gaia hadn't also lost her own in the wake of battle. *************** Gaia pulled him aside, bloodied and panting. "We have to do this now, or it will be to late. The pulses keep coming," She pleads with him. She grabs his left hand in hers, nearly crushing his fingers. The twin marks pulsed against each other, stronger when connected. Gaia looked him dead in the eyes, willing him to let her do this. She knew she could handle it. For how long she didn't know, but she could long enough to distract Solas and to cut her arm off if need be. ****************** Lokis grows furrowed, face bloodied and breath trying to escape him. He could never will his sister, his only sister, to bear such a horrid mark. " Gaia please.. All i ask is you not take the mark. Just.. Just cut it off right here. I'll be fine." he was only half lying. He'd be in pain if only for a little while, compared to what he had been through it'd be a walk in the park " in not letting you bare this." Loki, as stubborn as he was, still knew when he wasn't getting anywhere with gaia and finally gave a sigh, looking over her shoulder to see dorians face before silently nodding in agreement to gaia ************** In her haste, she was not gentle. She pulled all the marks energy from her brother, through his arm, and into her own. The lines that traveled up Loki's arm and onto his chest receded quickly as she did. Gaia's grip on his hand was almost crushing as a wave of pain crashed through her. the lines traveled up her own arm, in a slightly different pattern. They swirled and pulsed as they climbed, not stopping until they finally reached her chin. They both collapsed to their knees, Loki catching Gaia before her head could hit the ground. "Go," She says, waving him off. "I'll take care of Solas."///// \\\ Gaia pushed, roughly releasing all of her marks power into her brother. She held tightly onto him, making sure his grip did not slip. Loki shouted, both sinking to their knees as the mark upon him pulsed wildly, the lines swirling in an intricate dance. They moved farther up, touching his ears and the edges of his scars. They mixed with his valaslin, blending almost seamlessly "Cassandra!" Gaia shouted, pushing Loki onto his back. Cassandra pushed forward, readying her sword as gaia used one of her belts to form a tourniquet "do it now!"
