Haughty little pokemon with a superiority complex, Sparlin are confrontational and snide to pretty much everyone they meet. Although skilled at wielding their long bills as a weapon they often times deem most opponents as unworthy to suffer its sting; despite having riled them up to the point of aggression to begin with. Dullamarlin have suffered many battles and rather than being humbled by their injuries, instead harbour a deep seated grudge against all they've fought. Using their own disembodied heads even more deftly than they did when it was still attached, they are indeed fearsome swordsmen. --Attack Info-- --Ability Info--

The "Mew" of Tresto. Dogus are cool and I definitely wanted to have one of my own. As a means of distancing it from Claydol I focused on the "ancient astronaut" angle, using two different dogu as inspiration for a suit on and suit off form. FYI, their wings are retractable. Dogunaut are pokemon believed to have come from space, although one theory posits they may in fact be returning to Earth instead of visiting. A heavy exoskeleton formed from minerals allows them to endure the extremes of space and protects a powerful internal battery, the engine for their exploration. Upon determining an environment is not hazardous they switch to their contact form, shedding their restrictive armour and enhancing their mobility. Mega Dogunaut --Attack Info-- --Ability Info--

I said I wasn't done with the Egyptian aesthetic and now here we are. I was really pleased with the idea for these, likening nesting dolls to canopic jars seemed perfect for an ancient paradox 'mon. Thought to have been a crucial companion during ancient burial rituals, Canopic Suite are group of earthen spirits that alwasy come in fours. Thought to have been given the remains of important people in exchange for protection as they cross over, their powers are thought to draw from ancient deities. Algrat are amorphous pokemon composed of seaweed that assume a human-like shape. Capable of stretching out their bodies into a number of shapes they will tangle up opponents and whip at them with claw-tipped tendrils of kelp. Generally restricted to shallower waters, they are inquisitive and will target boats that sail overhead and small groups may lay seige to the people onboard before leaving with whatever took their fancy. Kelpirate dwell in deeper waters than their younger kin and generally live alone, with a small handful of Algrat around them. They maintain a fascination for boats but will only breach the surface when they detect a large enough vessel. More than valuables they now target people and will usually end their attacks by taking a captive with them. --Attack Info-- --Ability Info--

Straying a little too far off piste to be viable as a pokemon, the idea to have my mega dogu be a straight up Gundam was too fun of an idea to pass up. Mega Dogunaut is blessed with the best of both its forms. The dense clay armour that protects the explorer form is present across its body, whilst the open joints of its contact form allow it freedom to move with agility. Able to effortlessly traverse any environment at lightning speed, they engage targets when neccessary with overwhelming force. Base Dogunaut --Attack Info-- --Ability Info--

The names are a fun nod to squirtle etc but have no bearing on any real relationship. Skurtle have yet to develop their shell and so resort to stealing gravestones to hide behind, using them as shields and weapons. Whilst cautious they are nevertheless curious and are keen to watch any who wander by; from the safety of a hidden vantage point of course. Mortortle now have a tough outer shell, layered with a somber-coloured moss and studded with a gravestone they chose to keep from their days as a Skurtle. Preferably left alone, they can be quite ornery if their space is invaded and they are welcomed in cemeteries as a strange sort of guard dog. Spending most of their time asleep, Restoise can grow to huge sizes though only grow more lethargic as they grow in size. They tend to a collection of their favourite graves and guard them jealously, swiping with their wing arms or clubbing intruders with their stony tail. They grow attached to cemetery caretakers and regular visitors and continue to commune with them when they pass. --Attack Info-- --Ability Info--

Fulgrazier are active at night and use their hollow foreheads to communicate; varying the size and intensity of the flames they emit to articulate different thoughts and feelings. Should they be disturbed they will immediately snuff out their lights, being quite shy and secretive, despite their flashy communication. Fulgoberon are secretive and solitary, not mingling much with even their own kind. Although quite small, they are formidable when crossed and in fits of rage may even burn down their forest homes completely. The flames they emit from their heads vary in size and shape, seemingly tailored to an individuals personal tastes. --Attack Info-- --Ability Info--

Quagmire Hydra are carnivorous plants that are thought to have adapted to the large, powerful creatures of the past, becoming larger and more fearsome themselves. Less interesting in luring prey in, their toothy maw and ravenous tentacles attempt to overwhelm prey with brute force. Modern Dewllusc –Attack Info– –Ability Info–
