Slow Strokes
Pairing: Chiron (Black) x Shai (Black Female OC)
Summary: After another explosive argument with her controlling boyfriend, Shai finds herself drawn across the fence line to the one man who has always truly seen her. Under the heavy Miami night, months of unspoken tension finally break, leading to a secret encounter that changes everything between them. But stolen moments never stay hidden for long.

The Miami heat was a living thing, a thick, breathing blanket that settled over the neighborhood by mid-afternoon and refused to lift until well after the sun had dipped below the horizon. It clung to skin, made clothing feel like a second, heavier skin, and turned the air in Chiron's small backyard into something syrupy and slow. From his wrought-iron chair on the concrete patio, he watched the leaves of the mango tree at the far corner of his property droop, heavy and listless. Everything was heavy today. The air, the silence, the weight of his own gaze as it drifted, as it always did, to the fence line separating his world from hers.
Chiron's yard was his sanctuary. The patches of St. Augustine grass were edged with surgical precision. The bougainvillea climbing the back wall was a riot of violent pink, but every dead stem had been pruned away, every stray shoot trained to follow the wrought-iron trellis he'd installed himself. His collection of succulents and cacti, arranged in mismatched terra-cotta pots along the fence, thrived under his careful attention. It was a kingdom of order, a testament to the fact that even in the chaos of the streets, a man could carve out a piece of peace and make it his own. It was the one place where the whispers of his trade, the constant low hum of danger that was his livelihood, couldn't reach him.
Except when she was there.
Shai's yard, on the other hand, told a different story. It was a mirror of neglect, a space where potential went to die. The grass was patchy and yellowing in spots, choked by weeds that grew with a wild, untamed vigor. A rose bush, planted by some previous occupant, struggled near her back patio, its leaves spotted with black mold, its few remaining blooms small and anemic. A rusted wheelbarrow lay on its side near the fence, half-filled with dead leaves and twigs, a project abandoned months, maybe years ago. It was a yard that reflected the kind of life lived on the edge, always one crisis away from tending to the things that mattered. And Chiron knew, with a certainty that settled deep in his bones, that Shai didn't have the energy to fight the weeds in her yard because she was too busy fighting the ones in her house.
He heard Travis before he saw him, the man's voice a familiar, grating boom that cut through the humid stillness. "You think I'm stupid? You think I don't see you looking?"
Chiron didn't move. He shifted his gaze from the struggling rose bush to the sliding glass door of Shai's house. It was a scene he'd witnessed, in one form or another, more times than he could count. Travis, all energy and simmering resentment, his face pushed up close to Shai's, his words a low, venomous torrent. Shai, her back to the window, her shoulders squared, but her head bowed, a statue absorbing the onslaught. She never yelled back. Never raised her voice. She took it, let it wash over her, until Travis either ran out of steam or stormed off, leaving a silence in his wake that was somehow heavier than the noise.
This time, it was about a phone call. Chiron couldn't make out all the words, but the gist was clear. Travis had seen her laughing at something on her phone. "Who the fuck is that? Who you texting and smiling for, Shai? It ain't me. It ain't ever fucking me."
Her response, when it came, was so quiet Chiron had to strain to hear it. "It was my cousin, Trav. In Atlanta. Showing me pictures of her new baby."
"Bullshit!" The word was a gunshot. "Always a fucking excuse. Always some story. You're always hiding something. I see the way you are. Always looking away. Always got your damn head in the clouds."
Chiron's jaw tightened. He watched as Travis moved closer, his finger jabbing the air inches from Shai's face. She flinched, a barely perceptible movement, but Chiron saw it. He always saw it. It was the same flinch he'd seen the time Travis had grabbed her arm a little too hard in the driveway, the same one he'd seen when Travis had slammed his fist on the kitchen counter during a disagreement about groceries. Small moments of violence, of intimidation, that Travis probably didn't even remember. But Chiron did. He cataloged them.
"I'm not hiding anything," Shai said, her voice flat, empty of all emotion. It was her defense mechanism, a way of retreating so far inside herself that Travis's words couldn't touch her.
"Then look at me!" Travis demanded, his voice cracking with desperation. "Look at me when I'm talking to you!"
She didn't. She kept her head down, her focus on some invisible spot on the linoleum floor. And that's when Travis's eyes, wild and searching, darted past her, through the glass, and landed directly on Chiron.
The air between the two yards crackled. It was a standoff. Travis's face, a mask of fury and territorial rage, and Chiron's, impassive, unreadable. Chiron didn't look away. He never did. He held Travis's gaze, a silent acknowledgment that yes, he was watching. Yes, he had heard. And no, there was nothing Travis could do about it. He saw the muscle in Travis's jaw jump, saw his hands clench into fists at his sides. He was a man who built his identity on being feared, on being the biggest dog in the yard. But Chiron wasn't a dog. He was something else entirely. He was the quiet, patient observer who knew all the weaknesses, all the soft spots, all the hidden fears. He was the man who made his living off the insecurities of men just like Travis.
"Motherfucker," Travis mouthed, the words silent but unmistakable. He took a step toward the sliding door, and for a second, Chiron thought he might actually come outside. He thought he might try to start something.
But then Shai moved. She turned, placing herself between Travis and the door, a human shield. "Trav, stop," she said, her voice still low, but now with an edge of weariness. "Just stop. Come on. Let's just... let's just go inside."
She put a hand on his chest, a placating gesture, and Travis looked down at it as if it were a foreign object. The fight seemed to drain out of him then, replaced by a sullen, petulant anger. He shot one last venomous glare at Chiron before allowing Shai to guide him away from the window and deeper into the house. The blinds snapped shut with a sharp rattle, severing the connection.
Chiron let out a slow breath. He picked up the glass of water from the small table beside his chair, the condensation cooling his fingertips. He didn't move for a long time, just sat there, processing. He was a drug dealer. He sold poison to people who were looking for an escape, a way to numb the pain of their lives. He'd seen the worst of humanity, the desperation, the decay. He'd done things he wasn't proud of, made choices that had put him on the wrong side of not just the law, but of his own conscience. He operated in the gray spaces, the moral twilight where survival trumped righteousness. He knew what he was.
But watching Travis with Shai... that felt different. That felt like a different kind of poison. The kind that seeped in slowly, under the skin, until it hollowed you out from the inside. Travis didn't hit her, not that Chiron had ever seen. But he didn't have to. He had a thousand other ways to make her small, to chip away at her spirit until there was nothing left but the shell. He was a cancer, and Chiron was the only one who seemed to be able to see the tumor growing.
The first time they'd really spoken, it had been over this very fence. It was months ago. She'd been trying to prune the struggling rose bush, her movements clumsy and frustrated. She'd snipped a healthy stem by mistake and let out a soft cry of annoyance. Chiron had been watering his cacti and had just watched her for a moment, taking in the set of her shoulders, the way her dark, tightly coiled curls were pulled back into a messy bun, a few stray tendrils escaping to frame a face that was beautiful even in its frustration. She was all rich, brown skin and full lips, eyes that held a deep, lingering sadness.
"You're cutting too low," he'd said, his voice quiet, almost startling her.
She'd jumped, turning to him with wide, doe-like eyes. "Oh! I... I didn't see you there."
"I know." He'd gestured with his watering can toward the bush. "Roses, you gotta cut above the leaf node. See? Right there." He pointed. "Otherwise, you just get dead wood."
She'd looked from the bush to him, a slow smile spreading across her face, transforming it. "You know about roses?"
"Know about things that need the right kind of attention to grow," he'd replied, the words carrying a weight that hung between them.
She'd laughed then, a real, genuine laugh that made something in Chiron's chest loosen. "Well, Mr. Rose Expert, this thing is probably a lost cause. It's been dying since I moved in."
"Nothing's a lost cause," he'd said, his gaze holding hers. "Just needs the right kind of hands on it."
The air had shifted then. The simple conversation about gardening had become something else, a coded language spoken between two people who recognized a kindred spirit in the other. She'd leaned a little closer to the fence, her body language open, curious.
"I'm Shai," she'd said.
"Chiron."
They hadn't needed to say more. In the weeks and months that followed, their interactions followed a similar pattern. A nod across the fence in the morning. A brief exchange about the weather or a new plant Chiron had added to his collection. He'd once spent an entire afternoon showing her how to properly repot an orchid, his hands guiding hers as they worked with the delicate roots, the touch sending messages through both of them that they'd pointedly ignored. He'd bring over extra mangoes from his tree, leaving them in a bowl on her patio table without a word. She, in turn, would sometimes leave a cold bottle of water for him on top of the fence post on the hottest days.
It was a friendship built on silence, on unspoken understanding. They never spoke about Travis. They never spoke about the things Chiron did for a living, the quiet comings and goings at all hours, the cash he seemed to always have on hand. They didn't have to. They saw each other, truly saw each other, in a way no one else in their lives did. He saw the vibrant, intelligent woman trapped in a cage of her own making. She saw the dangerous, watchful man who tended his garden with the same gentle precision he used to navigate the treacherous world he inhabited.
And Travis saw it too. Travis saw the way Chiron's eyes lingered on Shai. He saw the way her body would subtly angle toward the fence whenever Chiron was outside. He saw the silent communication that flowed between them, a current of intimacy that threatened to sweep him away. His response was always the same: more noise, more anger, more posturing. He was a man trying to shout down a truth he couldn't bear to acknowledge.
Chiron stood up, his joints stiff from sitting too long. He walked to the fence, his hand resting on the warm, sun-bleached wood. He could hear the muffled sounds of the argument starting up again inside, Travis's voice rising and falling in a predictable, painful rhythm. He looked at the rusted wheelbarrow in her yard, the dead leaves spilling out of it. He thought about the rose bush, struggling to bloom in soil that hadn't been tended. He thought about the light in her eyes when she laughed, and the way it dimmed whenever Travis was near.
He was a man who dealt in consequences, in the cold, hard arithmetic of the streets. And the equation here was simple. Travis was a poison. Shai was the antidote. And Chiron... Chiron was the man who was getting tired of just watching the sickness take hold. He was a man of few words, but as he stood there, listening to the muffled sounds of her pain, a single, heavy thought solidified in his mind, a promise he made to himself and to her.
It was time to tend the garden.
The air inside Shai's house was thick, not with the Miami heat, but with the suffocating weight of unspoken things. It was a pressure that built over time, a slow accumulation of small resentments and larger disappointments that had nowhere to go. It settled in the corners of the living room, clung to the curtains, and made the silence between arguments heavier than the shouting itself. Tonight, the catalyst was small, almost laughably so. A receipt. A crumpled piece of paper from a gas station, lying on the kitchen counter like a piece of evidence.
"What's this?" Travis's voice was deceptively calm, a low rumble that was more dangerous than a shout. He held the receipt between his thumb and forefinger, as if it were contaminated. He'd come home an hour late, smelling of beer and cheap perfume that wasn't Shai's, and immediately started prowling through the house, searching for something to be wrong about. He always found it.
Shai was at the sink, rinsing the day's dishes, the warm water a small comfort against her skin. She didn't turn around. "It's a receipt, Trav."
"I know what the fuck it is," he snapped, his voice rising. "What I wanna know is why it says you filled up your car on Tuesday afternoon. When I called you from work, you said you were at home. All day."
Shai shut off the water. The sudden silence in the kitchen made her ears ring. She closed her eyes for a moment, gathering the frayed edges of her patience. "I was home most of the day. I went out for a little while. To get some air."
"To get some air?" He was behind her now. She could feel his presence, a disturbance in the air that made the fine hairs on her arms stand up. "You needed to drive all the way to Hialeah to get some air? That's the story you're going with?"
She turned slowly, drying her hands on a dish towel. His face was flushed, his eyes wide with that familiar, manic energy he got when he was building to a peak. It was a look she knew well, a roadmap to the next hour of her life.
"It's not a story, Travis. It's what happened." Her voice was level, practiced. She had learned over the years that raising her voice only added fuel to his fire. The best defense was a quiet, unbreachable wall.
"Bullshit!" The word exploded from him, making her flinch. "You're lying. I can hear it in your voice. Who were you with? Was it him? Was it that quiet motherfucker next door?"
And there it was. The real subject of the argument, as it always was. Chiron. The phantom third party in their relationship, the silent observer, Travis had conjured into a full-blown rival.
Shai's expression didn't change, but inside, something tightened. "You know I don't really talk to him like that. We just say hi sometimes."
"Say hi?" Travis took a step closer, his finger jabbing the air between them. "I see the way he looks at you. Like you're a piece of meat he's about to carve up. And I see the way you look back. Don't think I don't see it. You think I'm stupid?"
"I never said you were stupid."
"You don't have to!" He was pacing now, a caged animal wearing a track in the linoleum. "You show me every damn day! Coming home late, smelling like... like outside. Like somebody else's world. You're not here with me, Shai. You're never really here. You're over there, in that next-door kingdom of his, probably imagining what it'd be like to be with a real man. A man who's got his shit together."
The accusation was so far off the mark, so wildly incorrect, that it was almost laughable. Chiron was a drug dealer, a man who operated in shadows. Travis, with his steady if mediocre job at the auto body shop, was the one with his shit together, at least on paper. But Travis didn't see it that way. He only saw the quiet confidence, the self-possession, the way Chiron moved through the world like he owned it, even when he was just sitting on his own patio. He saw everything he wasn't, and it ate him alive.
"I'm not imagining anything," Shai said, her voice dropping even lower, becoming a near whisper. "I'm right here. Standing in this kitchen with you."
"Are you?" He stopped pacing and closed the distance between them in two long strides. He was in her face now, so close she could see the angry red capillaries in his eyes, smell the acrid scent of the beer on his breath. "Because it don't feel like it. It feels like I'm talking to a goddamn ghost. A pretty, warm body that lets me fuck it but won't let me in. Won't tell me shit."
He grabbed her arm then, his fingers wrapping around her bicep, not hard enough to bruise, but hard enough to make a point. It was a possession, a branding. "Where were you, Shai? I'm not gonna ask you again."
The world narrowed to the point of contact, his fingers digging into her skin. The familiar, cold dread washed over her, the feeling of being trapped, of the walls of the house, of the relationship, closing in. She looked into his eyes, searching for the man she once loved, the one who made her laugh, who held her hand through her mother's funeral. But he wasn't there anymore. All she could see was the anger, the insecurity, the desperate need to control something, anything, in a world where he felt powerless.
"I went to the store," she said, her voice barely audible. "By myself. I just wanted to be alone for a little while."
"Alone?" He laughed, a harsh, ugly sound. "You're never alone. Not really. Not with him next door, watching your every move. Probably jacking off in his garden while you bend over to pull a fucking weed."
The words were vile, intended to hurt, to degrade. And they did. But they also broke something in her. The careful, practiced composure she maintained, the wall she hid behind, it all crumbled. Not into tears, not into pleading, but into a sudden, cold clarity. She looked at his hand on her arm, then back at his face. And she was done.
"Let go of me," she said. It wasn't a request. It was a statement.
He blinked, surprised by the steel in her voice. "What?"
"Let. Go. Of. Me." She enunciated each word, a slow, deliberate command.
For a second, she thought he might refuse. His grip tightened, a reflexive act of defiance. But then he saw it in her eyes. The shift. The point of no return. With a muttered curse, he released her, shoving her arm away like it was something hot.
"Fine," he spat, stepping back. "Go. Run outside to your boyfriend. See if I give a fuck."
But she was already moving. She didn't respond to his taunt. She didn't look back. She turned and walked away from him, away from the kitchen, away from the suffocating weight of his presence. She slid open the heavy glass door and stepped out into the humid night air.
The change was immediate. The air outside was thick and heavy, yes, but it was free. It smelled of night-blooming jasmine and damp earth and the faint, salty tang of the ocean carried on the breeze. It was the smell of life. She took a deep, shuddering breath, pulling it into her lungs, trying to wash away the residue of the argument.
She stood in the middle of her neglected lawn, the dead grass crunching under her bare feet. She rubbed her arm where Travis had grabbed her, the skin still tingling. She looked up at the sky, a wash of indigo pricked by the faint, distant stars. She felt exposed, raw, but also strangely liberated. She was out. She was away.
And then she felt it. A gaze. A weight. She didn't have to look to know where it was coming from. She turned her head slowly, her heart starting to beat a little faster. There he was, sitting in the same chair as before, a dark, still silhouette against the softer glow of his patio light. He hadn't moved. He was just watching. Waiting.
Their eyes met across the expanse of their two worlds, hers of chaos and neglect, his of order and control. In that look, a thousand unspoken things passed between them. He had heard. Of course, he had heard. He saw the fresh pain in her eyes, the way she held herself, just a little bit differently than she had an hour ago. He saw the flinch she'd tried to hide, the subtle shift from enduring to breaking.
And she saw him. Not just the neighbor. Not just the quiet, dangerous man who tended his garden. She saw the only person in her life who didn't require her to explain, who didn't need her to perform. He just saw. And in his steady, unwavering gaze, she found an anchor, a point of stillness in the storm of her life.
From inside, she heard Travis's footsteps, the sound of him pacing, the crash of something being thrown against a wall. The sounds of his tantrum, his impotent rage. But they seemed distant now, muffled, like they were happening to someone else. Her focus was here. Outside. In the quiet space between two fences, under the vast Miami sky. Her focus was on the man who watched her with an intensity that was both terrifying and exhilarating, an intensity that promised he was done just watching.
The sound of Travis's rage was a distant, impotent storm, a background noise to the electric current that arced across the six feet of chain-link fence separating Shai's world from Chiron's. Inside, a man was throwing a tantrum, breaking things, and making noise. Out here, in the thick, breathing darkness, a different kind of storm was gathering, one that moved with the silent, deliberate precision of a predator.
Shai stood there, a solitary figure in a sea of neglect, rubbing her arm. The gesture was unconscious, a small, repetitive motion meant to soothe a hurt that went deeper than the skin. Her fingers traced the place where Travis's hand had been, a phantom pressure that lingered even after his touch was gone. She could still feel the heat of his anger, the way his fingers had dug into her flesh, a proprietary claim that spoke volumes about how he saw her: not as a partner, but as a possession. Her eyes were fixed on Chiron's patio, but she wasn't really seeing the man, not yet. She was seeing an escape, a port in the hurricane of her life.
Chiron watched her. He watched the way her shoulders slumped, the slight tremor in her hands, the way she held herself as if expecting another blow, verbal or otherwise. He'd heard it all. Every accusation, every vile word, every pathetic attempt by Travis to assert a dominance he didn't possess. The thin walls of their homes did little to muffle the sound of a man's insecurity. He'd heard the crash, the muffled curse, the sound of Travis's frustration finding a physical outlet against an inanimate object. It was the soundtrack to Shai's life, a symphony of misery that Chiron had been listening to for months.
He had been sitting in the same chair for over an hour, a silent sentinel in his kingdom of order. He'd been nursing a glass of whiskey, the ice melting slowly, watering down the liquor until it was barely more than a memory of its former strength. He hadn't moved when the argument started. He didn't move when it escalated. He just sat, and he listened. His face was an unreadable mask, but his eyes, dark and deep, held a world of emotion. Anger, yes. A cold, simmering fury at the way Travis spoke to her. But something else, too. Something that had been building for months, a slow burn of want and need and a fierce, protective instinct that defied his own carefully constructed code of non-involvement.
Their eyes met, and the world shifted. It was a connection that had been forged over months of stolen glances and brief, charged conversations. In his gaze, she saw not pity, but understanding. She saw a reflection of her own pain, mirrored in the depths of his dark eyes. She saw an acknowledgment of her strength, of the resilience it took to endure, to survive. And in her gaze, he saw everything he'd been waiting for. He saw the flicker of defiance, the spark of rebellion against the cage she'd built for herself. He saw the unspoken question, the silent plea.
And then, he moved.
There was no hesitation. No moment of indecision. It was as if a switch had been flipped inside him, a line had been crossed, and there was no going back. He set his glass down on the small table beside his chair, the sound a soft click in the quiet night. He rose from his seat, his movements a display of controlled power. He was a big man, broad-shouldered and solid, but he moved with an athlete's grace.
He walked to the fence, his gaze never leaving hers. He didn't vault it with a show of athleticism. He simply placed a hand on the top rail and swung his leg over, then the other, landing softly on the other side. The motion was so smooth, so effortless, it was almost surreal. He was crossing a boundary, a line he had never dared to cross before. He was invading her space, her world, and he was doing it with the quiet certainty of a man who knew he belonged there.
He stood there for a moment, on her side of the fence, a dark, imposing figure in her neglected yard. His presence, so solid and real, against the backdrop of her wilting roses and overgrown weeds. He was a man of substance in a place of decay.
Shai's breath caught in her throat. Her heart hammered against her ribs, a frantic drumbeat of fear and anticipation. Every instinct, every lesson learned from years of Travis's unpredictable moods, screamed at her to run. To retreat. To put distance between herself and this man, this dangerous, unpredictable man who had just crossed a line that could never be uncrossed. But she didn't move. She couldn't. Her feet were rooted to the spot, her body held captive by the intensity of his gaze.
He took a step toward her. Then another. His steps were slow, giving her ample time to tell him to stop. To turn away. To send him back to his side of the fence. But the words wouldn't come. Her throat was tight, her voice lost somewhere between the fear and the desperate, overwhelming need for him to keep coming.
He stopped in front of her, so close she could feel the heat radiating from his body, so close she could smell the faint scent of his whiskey, the masculine scent of his skin. He didn't touch her, not at first. He just stood there, his eyes searching hers, looking for something, a sign, a signal. He was giving her one last chance to pull away, to end this before it began.
She didn't pull away. She leaned in, just slightly, a barely perceptible movement, but it was all the encouragement he needed.
His hand came up to her face, a slow, gentle movement that was opposite to the forceful, possessive way Travis touched her. His fingers were rough, calloused from work, but his touch was impossibly light. He cupped her cheek, his thumb stroking the soft skin just below her eye, wiping away a tear she hadn't even realized was there.
The touch was a revelation. It was a question and an answer, a promise and a plea. It was the touch of a man who saw her, not as an object, but as a person. A woman. A fragile, beautiful, broken thing that he wanted to mend, not break.
"You don't have to be afraid," he said, his voice a low rumble, a vibration that she felt more than heard. It was the first time he had spoken to her tonight, and the words were heavy, weighted with a significance that went far beyond their simple meaning.
She looked up at him, her eyes wide, searching his face. She saw the hardness there, the dangerous edge that she knew was a part of who he was. But she saw something else, too. A softness, a vulnerability, a warmth that was just for her.
"I'm not afraid," she whispered, and the words were true. In that moment, with his hand on her cheek and his eyes holding hers, she wasn't afraid of Travis, of the future, of the consequences. She was only afraid of this moment ending.
His thumb continued its slow, rhythmic stroking, a hypnotic, comforting motion that soothed the raw, frayed edges of her nerves. He leaned in closer, his face just inches from hers, his gaze dropping to her lips. The air between them crackled with a tension so thick it was almost tangible. She could feel his breath on her skin, warm and whiskey-scented.
"Tell me to stop," he murmured, his voice a low, gravelly whisper. "Tell me to go back to my yard, and I will. I'll walk away, and I'll never bother you again."
She knew he meant it. She knew that this was her choice, her decision. She could send him away, retreat to the safety of her miserable life, and he would respect her choice. He would go back to his side of the fence, and they would go back to being just neighbors, their unspoken connection buried under a mountain of what-ifs.
But she didn't want to be safe. She didn't want to go back to the way things were. She wanted this. She wanted him. She wanted the danger, the excitement, the raw, undeniable passion she knew he offered.
She didn't say anything. She just closed the distance between them, pressing her lips against his in a kiss that was both a surrender. A surrender to the feelings she had been fighting for months, and a declaration that she was done fighting, done hiding, done living a life that wasn't her own.
The kiss was hesitant at first, a gentle exploration, but it quickly deepened, fueled by months of unspoken desire, of pent-up frustration, of a desperate, aching need. It was a kiss that tasted of whiskey and tears and the promise of something new, something better. It was a kiss that said everything they had never been able to say.
And as his arms came around her, pulling her close, his body hard and demanding against hers, she knew, with a certainty that settled deep in her soul, that her life would never be the same.
The kiss was a collision. A soft, brutal collision of months of unspoken words and years of un-lived moments. It wasn't gentle. It wasn't tentative. It was a desperate, hungry claiming, a sealing of a pact that had been written in the air between them for as long as they could remember. For a split second, Shai's body reacted with the muscle memory of her life with Travis, a reflexive stiffening, a subconscious bracing for impact, for the wrong kind of touch.
But Chiron wasn't Travis.
His mouth moved against hers with a fierce, demanding pressure, but his hands, his hands were different. One remained on her cheek, his thumb still stroking her skin in that slow, hypnotic rhythm, a constant, grounding presence. The other slid around her waist, not grabbing, not clutching, but pulling her into him, molding her body to his with an undeniable certainty. It was a possessiveness that felt like safety, a claim that felt like a promise. And just like that, the resistance, the last vestige of her old life, melted away like ice under a tropical sun.
Her body softened against his, a sigh escaping her lips. She was no longer just receiving; she was participating. Her hands, which had been hanging limply at her sides, rose to his chest, her fingers curling into the fabric of his t-shirt, pulling him closer. She tilted her head, deepening the kiss, her tongue meeting his, a shy, tentative exploration that quickly grew bolder, more demanding. She tasted the whiskey on his breath, she knew, with a bone-deep certainty, that she could get drunk on this man, on this feeling, and never want to be sober again.
The world around them faded away, the sounds of the night, the distant hum of the city, the even more distant sound of Travis's rage, all of it dissolved into a meaningless hum. There was only this. Only the feel of his body against hers, the taste of his mouth, the scent of his skin. His hands roamed her back, tracing her spine, his touch a brand, a fire that burned through the thin cotton of her shirt, searing her skin, marking her as his. She arched against him, an invitation, a desperate plea for more, and he answered, his mouth leaving hers to trail a path of fire down her neck, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin where her pulse hammered a frantic, desperate rhythm.
"Chiron," she breathed, his name a prayer, a curse, a benediction all at once. It was the first word she had spoken since he'd crossed the fence, and it hung in the air between them, heavy with meaning.
He didn't answer. He just kept kissing her, his hands growing bolder, one sliding down to cup the curve of her ass, pulling her flush against him, letting her feel the hard, undeniable evidence of his desire. She could feel his dick, a thick, heavy ridge pressing against her belly, and instead of the familiar flicker of fear, a thrill shot through her. This was real. This was happening. And she wanted it. She wanted him. All of him.
But then, a sound. A sharp, distinct crash from inside the house. The sound of something breaking, followed by a muffled curse. Travis.
The sound was like a splash of cold water, a harsh, brutal reminder of the reality they were stepping outside of. The world came rushing back in. The fear, the danger, the consequences. Shai tensed, her body going rigid in his arms, her eyes flying open, wide with panic.
But Chiron didn't pull away. He just held her, his arms a secure, unyielding circle around her, his body a shield between her and the house. He lifted his head, his eyes finding hers, and in his gaze, she saw no fear, no hesitation. She saw only a fierce, unwavering resolve, a promise that he would protect her, that he would keep her safe, no matter what.
"It's okay," he murmured, his voice a low, reassuring rumble against her ear. "He's not coming out."
"How do you know?" she whispered, her voice trembling with a fear she couldn't quite suppress.
"Because he's a coward," Chiron said, his voice hard, cold. "Cowards throw things. They make noise. They don't come out here. Not into the dark. Not where they might have to face something real."
His words, so certain, so confident, calmed her. He was right. Travis was all about the performance, the show of rage. He wouldn't risk a real confrontation, not with Chiron, not on territory that wasn't his own.
Still, the risk was there. A constant, thrumming undercurrent of danger that added a sharp, exhilarating edge to their encounter. They were playing with fire, and they both knew it. Every touch, every kiss, was an act of defiance, a rebellion against the life she had been living.
"We can't," she said, but her body betrayed her words, her hands still clutching at his shirt, her hips pressing against his. "Not here."
He didn't argue. He didn't try to convince her. He just looked at her, his eyes dark and intense, and then he nodded, a slow, deliberate movement. He understood. He understood the need for secrecy, for shadows, for a space where they could be themselves, if only for a little while.
He took her hand, his fingers lacing through hers, and he started to lead her across the lawn. His steps were sure, confident, as if he knew this yard, this space, as well as he knew his own. He led her toward the back of the property, toward the large, unruly bougainvillea bush that grew against the back wall, a tangle of thorny branches and vibrant, magenta flowers. It was a wild, untamed thing, a beautiful mess of color and danger, a perfect metaphor for what they were about to do.
He pushed aside the thick, leafy branches, creating a small, hidden space, a secret garden just for them. The air inside was thick with the sweet, heavy scent of the flowers, the ground a soft carpet of fallen petals. It was a private, secluded world, a pocket of darkness where they were hidden from the house, from the street, from everything but each other.
He turned to her, his body blocking the entrance, his silhouette a dark, imposing figure against the faint moonlight that filtered through the leaves. He didn't say a word. He just looked at her, his eyes burning with a hunger, a need that mirrored her own. And in that look, she saw a future, a possibility, a life beyond the walls of her house, beyond the shadow of Travis's anger.
She reached for him, her hands finding his face, pulling him down for another kiss. This time, there was no hesitation, no fear. There was only the raw truth of their desire. This was their moment. Their rebellion. Their beginning. And they were going to savor every second of it.
The air inside their hidden alcove was thick and sweet, a heady cocktail of night-blooming jasmine and unspoken desire. The space was small, intimate, the thorny branches of the bougainvillea creating a natural barrier against the world. In here, they were in a different dimension, a place where the rules didn't apply, where the only law was the one that pulsed between them, a current of electricity so strong it made the air hum.
Chiron's hands moved with an unhurried grace. There was no fumbling, no frantic rush to get to the main event. His fingers found the hem of her shirt, but he didn't pull it over her head. Instead, they traced the waistband of her shorts, his knuckles brushing against the soft skin of her stomach, making her muscles quiver. His gaze was intense, focused, as if he were memorizing every detail, every curve. He was worshipping her with his eyes before he ever touched her with his hands.
He hooked his thumbs into the waistband of her shorts and panties, pulling them down together in one slow, smooth motion. She stepped out of them, her bare feet sinking into the soft carpet of fallen petals. The night air was cool against her heated skin, a delicious contrast that made her shiver. She stood before him, naked from the waist down, her shirt the only barrier between them, feeling more exposed, more vulnerable, and more alive than she had ever felt in her life.
He didn't undress her further. He didn't need to. His focus was on the core of her, on the part of her that Travis had never bothered to truly see, to appreciate.
He turned her around, his hands on her hips, guiding her toward the rickety lawn chair that sat forgotten in the corner of the hidden space. It was an old, faded thing, a relic of a life she had barely lived, but in his hands, it became an altar. He bent her over it, her hands gripping the cracked plastic armrests, her body angled in a way that was both submissive and empowering. She was offering herself to him, not out of obligation, but out of a desperate, aching need.
She heard the soft rustle of fabric, the metallic clink of a belt buckle, and then the sound of his jeans hitting the ground. He was behind her, a solid, imposing presence, his body heat radiating against her bare skin. She could feel the length of him, thick and hard, pressing against the cleft of her ass, a promise of what was to come.
He didn't enter her right away. He took a moment, a pause that stretched into an eternity, letting the anticipation build, letting the tension coil in her stomach until she was trembling with it. His hands roamed her back, her hips, her thighs, his touch a brand, a fire that burned through her, leaving a trail of goosebumps in its wake. He was taking his time, savoring this moment, this act of possession, this slow claiming.
Then his fingers dipped between her thighs, sliding through the slick, swollen folds of her pussy. He wasn't just touching her; he was exploring her wetness, learning her shape. His thumb found her clit, already hard and peeking from its hood, and he circled it slowly, teasingly, just enough to make her hips jerk, to make a desperate sound escape her lips.
He slid two fingers inside her, a thick, delicious intrusion that made her gasp. He curled them, finding that spongy spot deep inside that made her whole body clench. He started to fuck her with his fingers, a slow, deliberate rhythm that was a preview of what was to come. In and out, his fingers glistening with her juices, the wet, sloppy sounds filling the small, hidden space.
"Please," she begged, her voice a ragged whisper. "Chiron, please."
He added a third finger, stretching her, filling her, his thumb still working her clit in slow circles. He was playing her like an instrument, his fingers a masterful extension of his will, coaxing sounds from her that she didn't know she could make. She could feel her orgasm building, a wave of pleasure gathering deep inside her, threatening to pull her under.
"Not yet, baby," he commanded, his voice a low, dominant growl.
He pulled his fingers out, leaving her empty, aching, desperate for more. He brought them to his lips, and he licked them clean, slowly.
"You taste good," he said, his voice a low, husky whisper. "Taste like you're ready for me."
Then, she felt it. The thick, mushroom head of his dick was nudging against her entrance. Even in the dim, moon-dappled shadows of their hidden alcove, she could make out its imposing shape. It was a heavy, dark thing, the color of rich, polished mahogany, a stark, beautiful contrast against the lighter brown of her thighs. A thick, angry vein pulsed along the underside, mapping a path from the base to the flared, weeping head. His dick wasn't just long; it was thick, a formidable girth that promised a challenge, a stretch that bordered on pain. The head was a broad, blunt instrument of pleasure, already slick with a bead of his own pre-cum that caught the faint light, a single, perfect pearl of want.
He was big, bigger than she had imagined, and a flicker of fear, an instinctual fear of being split open, shot through her. But it was quickly replaced by a wave of liquid heat, a desperate, overwhelming need to be filled, to be completed, to be taken by this man, this dangerous, beautiful man who had crossed a fence for her. The sheer weight of him against her was a promise, a tangible declaration of his desire. He dragged the head through her soaked folds, not entering, just teasing, coating himself in her slickness. The sensation was electric, a nasty, wet slide that made her knees weak and her pussy clench in anticipation. He was marking his territory, anointing himself in her essence before he ever claimed her.
He entered her slowly, inch by measured inch, the world narrowing to the space between them and the quiet rhythm of their breathing. There was nothing rushed about it. Every movement felt deliberate, almost reverent, as if he were learning her in real time and refusing to skip a single moment of it. The tension in their hidden garden seemed to stretch alongside the moment itself, drawing it out until each second felt suspended.
The first full movement forward felt like a turning point. She drew in a sharp breath, her fingers tightening where they rested, and he immediately stilled, his gaze lifting to meet hers. His eyes searched her face with unwavering focus, reading every flicker of emotion that crossed it. Concern, desire, concentration, anticipation. He seemed to catalog them all before moving again.
Moonlight spilled across their bodies, tracing the line of his shoulders and catching in the intensity of his expression. He stayed close, close enough that she could feel the warmth of his breath, close enough that neither of them could look away. The silence between them was not empty. It was full of unspoken questions and quiet reassurances.
When he moved again, it was with the same patience, the same care. His hand settled against her side, steady and grounding, a silent reminder that he was paying attention to every reaction, every breath, every shift. The moment felt less like surrender and more like trust unfolding in real time. He watched her closely, waiting for the smallest sign that she was ready before giving her more, his focus fixed entirely on her as the distance between hesitation and certainty slowly disappeared.
The sound was obscene in the quiet night. A soft, wet squelch as the broad head of his dick finally breached past her entrance, forcing her tight, slick walls to part. It was the sound of conquest, of a space being claimed, and it made Shai's breath hitch in her throat. He was big, so fucking big, and the stretch was a delicious, burning ache, a pain that bled directly into pleasure. He gave her a moment, just a heartbeat, to adjust to the thick, intrusive presence of him, before he pushed forward again, sinking another inch of his heavy length into her welcoming heat.
"Fuck," she gasped, the word torn from her lips, "You're so... fuck."
He didn't respond with words. He just kept moving, a slow, relentless advance that was as much about her own pleasure as it was about his. Each inch was a new discovery, a new territory to be claimed. He was watching her face, his eyes dark and intense, gauging her reaction, making sure she was with him. He saw the way her eyes rolled back, the way her mouth fell open, the way her body trembled under his touch. He was learning her, reading her like a book, and he was only on the first page.
Then, with another, deep thrust, he was buried deep, his balls slapping against her clit with a soft, meaty thwack. He was all the way in, a thick, hard, undeniable presence that filled her completely, stretching her to her limits, touching a place deep inside her that had never been touched before.
He stayed there for a moment, still and deep, letting her feel the full weight of him, letting her body adjust to the sheer size of him. She could feel him pulsing inside her, a slow, steady rhythm that was in perfect sync with the frantic pounding of her heart. She was so full, so stretched, and the feeling was overwhelming, a wave of sensation that threatened to pull her under.
"You feel that?" he asked, his voice a low, husky whisper against her ear. "Feel how deep I am?"
She could only nod, her throat too tight to form words. She could feel it. She could feel him in every fiber of her being, a deep, aching presence.
He started to move again, a slow retreat that left her feeling empty, aching for his return. He pulled out until just the head was inside, a teasing, torturous withdrawal that made her whimper with need. Then, he pushed back in, a slow, deep stroke that filled her, stretched her, claimed her all over again.
He set a rhythm, a slow, hypnotic beat that was in perfect sync with the frantic pounding of her heart. Each stroke was a measured act, a slow, deep plunge that sent shockwaves coursing through her body. He was fucking her, yes, but he was also making love to her, his body a vessel for all the words he couldn't say, all the emotions he couldn't show. It was a slow dance, a sensual, intimate exploration that was as much about connection as it was about climax.
"Chiron," she breathed his name.
The contrast was a brutal, beautiful dichotomy. Travis's anger was explosive, a messy, chaotic force that left her feeling drained, diminished. Chiron's passion was controlled, a focused, intense energy that built her up, that made her feel powerful, desired, seen. With Travis, sex was a transaction, a way to end an argument, a temporary truce in a never-ending war. With Chiron, it was a communion, a merging of two souls, a rebellion against the life she had been living.
He picked up the pace, responding to the subtle shifts in her body as though he could read every thought running beneath her skin. The rhythm between them grew more urgent, each movement building naturally from the last. She arched forward over the chair, her hands tightening against the worn wood as she adjusted to him, meeting his energy with her own. The night air brushed against her skin, cool against the heat that had settled between them, while the garden around them seemed to disappear into darkness.
His hands settled firmly at her hips, steadying her whenever the chair shifted beneath them. The grip was grounding rather than forceful, a way of keeping them connected as their movements found a shared rhythm. Leaves rustled somewhere beyond the fence, and a distant porch light flickered on and off, but neither of them paid attention. The world had narrowed to the sound of their breathing, the scrape of fabric, and the electric awareness of each other’s presence.
Every reaction from her drew his focus. The way her shoulders tensed and relaxed. The way she tilted her head back to catch her breath. The way she instinctively moved with him rather than against him. He watched closely, attentive to every change, every signal, every unspoken response. There was intensity in the moment, but also concentration, as though he was determined to stay present with her rather than lose himself entirely to impulse.
Around them, the garden remained cloaked in shadow. The chair sat half-hidden beneath overgrown branches, tucked away from the glow spilling out from the house. The contrast between the quiet domestic scene beyond the windows and the charged atmosphere outside only heightened the sense that they had stepped briefly outside of ordinary time. The night seemed to hold its breath with them, stretching each second longer than it should have lasted.
Her pussy was a revelation, a tight, wet, velvet fist that gripped him, begging him, pulling him deeper, urging him on. She was so wet, so ready for him, her juices coating his dick, making each stroke a smooth, easy glide, a delicious friction that sent them both spiraling toward the edge.
“Fuck,” he groaned, the word dragging out of him rough and ragged, his voice dropping into something deeper, something that seemed to vibrate through the warm night air. His grip tightened reflexively, fingers flexing against her skin as he fought for control. Sweat gleamed along his shoulders and the line of his jaw, catching what little moonlight filtered through the tangled branches overhead.
“You’re so fucking wet,” he said again, the words sounding almost disbelieving, pulled from somewhere low in his chest.
Shai’s answer never came in the form of words. The only sound she could manage was a breathless moan, broken and unsteady, torn from her throat before she could stop it. Her forehead dipped toward the back of the chair, fingers tightening around the worn armrests until her knuckles ached. Every nerve in her body felt alive, tuned to the same overwhelming frequency.
The world beyond their hidden corner of the garden blurred into insignificance. The distant hum of traffic, the rustle of leaves, even the faint glow spilling from the house behind them all seemed impossibly far away. All she could focus on was sensation. Heat. Pressure. Movement.
Her body responded instinctively, hips shifting with his rhythm, drawn into the relentless cadence they had created together. Every breath felt too shallow. Every heartbeat landed harder than the last. She was suspended in a haze of feeling, her thoughts scattered and unreachable, replaced by raw awareness.
Chiron watched her closely, drinking in every reaction. The tremor that ran through her shoulders. The way her head tipped back. The soft sounds she tried and failed to hold in. The sight of her unraveling beneath the weight of everything she had been carrying for so long struck something deep inside him.
The humid Miami night pressed close around them, thick with the scent of earth, flowers, and summer heat. Sweat gathered at the base of her neck and along her spine, cooling whenever the breeze managed to find its way through the branches. The contrast only sharpened every sensation, making the moment feel almost unreal, like the rest of the world had fallen away and left only the two of them hidden in the darkness.
“Look at me,” he murmured, the command low and steady.
She turned her head just enough to meet his eyes.
The intensity in his expression stole what little breath she had left.
For a moment, neither of them seemed capable of looking away. The connection held, taut and undeniable, stretching between them like a live wire. Around them, the garden remained silent, cloaked in shadow, guarding their secret while the night carried on beyond the walls of their hidden refuge.
He reached around, his fingers finding her clit, a hard, sensitive nub that was swollen with need. He rubbed it in slow circles, his touch a perfect counterpoint to the steady, rhythmic thrusting of his hips. It was too much. It was not enough. She was on the verge of something, a precipice of pleasure so intense it was almost painful.
“Chiron,” she gasped, the syllables breaking apart on a trembling breath. Her entire body felt stretched taut, wound so tightly she thought she might come undone from the strain alone. Her legs shook beneath her, muscles quivering from the effort of holding herself together. Every nerve ending felt exposed, raw, and electric, each sensation amplified until it bordered on unbearable.
“I… I can’t…”
Her voice cracked, lost somewhere between a plea and a confession.
“Yeah, you can,” he growled, the sound low and rough, vibrating through the space between them. His forehead brushed against the back of her shoulder as he stayed close, refusing to let her drift away from him. “That’s it. Stay with me.”
The words wrapped around her, steadying her even as everything inside her threatened to break apart.
The night seemed to narrow around them. The humid air pressed close, thick and heavy, smelling of crushed flowers and damp earth. The scent filled her lungs with every ragged breath, a heady perfume that was uniquely theirs. Somewhere beyond the tangled branches of the bougainvillea, the city continued on, indifferent and distant, a low, constant hum of traffic and life. But here, in their hidden corner of the world, time had slowed to the frantic, desperate rhythm of their hearts, a syncopated beat that was the only sound that mattered.
She could feel it building.
The pressure.
The heat.
The impossible, overwhelming tension coiling tighter and tighter in her belly, a hot, heavy weight that promised to shatter her into a million pieces.
Every movement, every touch, every whispered word pushed her closer. His hand slid up her back, his fingers tracing the line of her spine, a path of fire that made her arch against him. His other hand remained on her hip, a firm, grounding presence that held her steady as the storm inside her raged.
Her fingers slipped against the chair as she tried to hold on to something solid. The rough, sun-bleached plastic dug into her palms, grounding her just enough to keep from floating away completely. Her body trembled beneath the force of what was coming, every muscle tightening, every breath catching higher in her chest, a frantic, desperate rhythm that was a prelude to the symphony of pleasure that was about to consume her.
“Chiron…”
His name left her lips, a desperate, breathless plea for release.
The sound seemed to undo whatever restraint remained. It was a catalyst, a trigger, a final, fatal blow to the wall of control he had so carefully constructed.
The final thread snapped.
The release hit her all at once.
A sharp, ragged inhale.
A broken, silent cry.
Then nothing but sensation.
The wave crashed through her with breathtaking force. Her body seized around the intensity of it, her pussy clenching around his dick in a series of powerful, relentless pulses. There was only light and heat and the overwhelming awareness of him, a blinding, all-consuming force that swept her away.
Chiron felt the change instantly.
The way she shuddered was a full-body convulsion that was both beautiful and terrifying.
The way her body gave in completely, a total, unconditional surrender that was the most erotic thing he had ever seen.
The way every wall she’d carried for so long, every defense, every reservation, finally collapsed, leaving her raw, vulnerable, and completely his.
A groan tore from him, rough and unguarded, a sound that was ripped from his soul. Seeing her lose herself like that, feeling her come apart around him, hit him harder than he expected. Months of restraint, months of watching, wanting, waiting, all converged into a single, devastating moment that was more powerful, more intense, than anything he had ever experienced.
His arms tightened around her, his body a cage of muscle and bone that was both a prison and a sanctuary. His face buried against the curve of her neck, his breath hot and ragged against her skin. The scent of her, the taste of her, the feel of her, it was all too much.
The intensity of his own release followed close behind, pulling him over the edge with her. It was a hot, thick flood that filled her and marked her as his. It was a culmination of months of unspoken desire, a physical manifestation of the connection that had been building between them for so long.
For a few seconds, there was nothing but the aftermath.
Nothing but shaking limbs.
Harsh, ragged breaths.
Hearts hammering wildly against ribs.
The garden seemed to sway around them, the leaves rustling softly overhead as the night settled back into place, the world slowly coming back into focus.
Slowly, awareness returned.
The distant hum of traffic, a constant reminder of the world outside their hidden sanctuary.
The chirp of insects hidden in the darkness, a symphony of the night that had been there all along, but had been drowned out by the sound of their own pleasure.
The faint glow of neighboring houses beyond the fence line, a soft, yellow light that was a world away from the intense, passionate darkness they had created.
The world came back piece by piece, a slow, gradual return to reality.
Neither moved right away.
They remained wrapped around each other, exhausted and breathless, clinging to the fragile sanctuary they had created beneath the bougainvillea, a temporary refuge from the chaos of their lives.
When he finally eased back, it was with visible reluctance, as though breaking the contact cost him something, as though he were leaving a part of himself behind.
He turned her gently toward him, his hands on her hips, his touch soft, tender.
Moonlight filtered through the branches above, catching in her eyes, illuminating the lingering emotion there. He saw the tears that tracked paths down her cheeks, tears of release, of relief, of a pleasure so intense it was almost painful.
For a long moment, he simply looked at her.
No words.
No explanations.
No promises spoken aloud.
Then he drew her into his arms.
Strong.
Steady.
Certain.
The noise of the world remained outside their hidden refuge, a distant, irrelevant hum.
Inside it, surrounded by flowers and shadows and the lingering warmth of each other’s presence, Shai let herself rest against him.
And for the first time in longer than she could remember, she felt safe.
The world was a soft, hazy cocoon of moonlight and shadow, of tangled limbs and shared breath. In the aftermath, there was a profound sense of peace, a quiet stillness that settled over them like a blanket. Shai was wrapped in Chiron's arms, her head resting against his chest, listening to the steady, rhythmic beat of his heart. It was a sound that anchored her, a reassuring drum that counteracted the frantic, chaotic rhythm of her own life. For the first time in longer than she could remember, she felt a sense of rightness, a feeling that she was exactly where she was supposed to be.
But the world, the real world, had a way of intruding, of shattering the fragile illusions of happiness.
It started as a sound, a distant, muffled thud from inside the house. At first, it was easy to ignore, a meaningless noise that was easily absorbed by the sounds of the night. But then it came again, closer this time, a heavy, deliberate tread on the linoleum floor. It was the sound of footsteps, and they were heading toward the back door.
The spell was broken.
The peace was shattered.
The fear, cold and sharp, pierced through the warm haze of their shared contentment.
"Shit," Chiron breathed, his body tensing, his arms tightening around her in a protective, instinctual gesture.
Shai's heart hammered against her ribs, a frantic, desperate drumbeat of panic. She pulled away from him, her body suddenly cold, the warmth of his embrace a distant memory. "He's coming," she whispered, her voice trembling with a fear that was all too familiar.
Chiron was already moving, his body a fluid, efficient motion that was a stark contrast to the languid, sensual movements of just a few moments ago. He grabbed his jeans from the ground, his movements quick. "Get dressed," he commanded, his voice a low, urgent growl. "Now."
Shai scrambled to obey, her fingers fumbling with the buttons of her shorts, her hands shaking so badly she could barely get them fastened. The adrenaline was a cold, rushing tide, washing away the remnants of their pleasure, leaving only the stark, brutal reality of their situation. She was a mess, her body still humming with the aftermath of his touch, her hair a tangled, sweaty mess, her lips swollen and bruised from his kisses. There was no way to hide what they had done, no way to erase the evidence of their transgression.
The footsteps were closer now, right outside the door. They could hear the rattle of the doorknob, the scrape of metal against metal.
"Shai!" Travis's voice was a sharp, angry bark that cut through the night. "Shai, where the fuck are you?"
Chiron was dressed, his jeans pulled up, his shirt hastily tucked in. He looked at her, his eyes dark and intense, a silent communication passing between them. There was no time for goodbyes, for promises, for explanations. There was only the need to escape, to disappear, to return to his side of the fence.
He gave her a final, lingering look, a look that was filled with a thousand unspoken words, a thousand unfulfilled promises. Then, he turned and melted into the shadows, a dark, silent figure that moved with the grace and stealth of a predator.
The back door slid open, flooding the yard with a harsh, artificial light. Travis stood on the threshold, a silhouette against the bright glare, his body a rigid, angry line. He was looking for her, his eyes scanning the darkness, searching for a target for his rage.
Shai stood frozen, her heart pounding, her breath caught in her throat. She was exposed, vulnerable, a sitting duck in the middle of her own backyard.
"Shai!" he yelled again, his voice a harsh, demanding bark. "Get your ass in here!"
She took a step forward, her body moving on autopilot, her mind a blank, panicked void. She was walking toward him, toward the house, toward the life she had been living, but it felt like she was walking to her own execution.
As she moved, she saw him.
Chiron.
He was at the fence, his body a dark, shadowy figure against the backdrop of his own yard. He was watching her, his eyes a pair of intense, burning coals in the darkness. He was waiting, making sure she was safe, making sure she was okay.
Then, he was over the fence, a fluid, effortless motion that was over in the blink of an eye. He landed softly on the other side, his feet making no sound on the soft grass. He didn't look back. He didn't hesitate. He just disappeared into the shadows of his own yard, a ghost, a phantom, a memory of what they had shared.
Travis's eyes scanned the darkness, his gaze lingering on the spot where Chiron had just been. For a second, Shai thought he had seen him, thought he had caught a glimpse of the man who had just crossed a line, a fence, a boundary, for her.
But then, his eyes moved on, his attention diverted by the sound of her footsteps on the concrete patio. He turned to her, his face a mask of anger and suspicion.
"Where the fuck have you been?" he demanded, his voice a low, dangerous growl. "I've been calling you."
"I just needed some air," she said, her voice a calm, even monotone that she didn't know she possessed. "It was hot inside. I was just getting some fresh air."
He looked at her, his eyes narrowed, his expression suspicious. He was searching for a lie, a crack in her story, a reason to unleash his anger. But he found nothing. She was a blank slate, a calm, unruffled surface that gave him nothing to hold on to.
"Fresh air?" he scoffed, his voice dripping with disdain. "You call this fresh air? It's hot as balls out here. You're lying to me, Shai. I know you're lying to me."
But she wasn't. Not really. The air had been fresh for a little while. The air had been filled with the scent of flowers and the promise of something new. The air had been filled with him.
She didn't say anything. She just looked at him, her face a mask of indifference, her eyes a cool, calm pool that gave him nothing to hold on to. She was a different person than she had been an hour ago. She was stronger, more confident, more sure of herself. She had crossed a line, a fence, a boundary, and she was not the same.
He stared at her for a long moment, his eyes searching hers, looking for a sign, a signal, a hint of the truth. But he found nothing. She was a mystery to him, a stranger, a woman he no longer recognized.
Finally, with a frustrated sigh, he turned and went back inside, leaving her alone in the darkness.
Shai stood there for a long time, the cool night air a welcome balm against her heated skin. She was alone again, but she was not lonely. She was changed, transformed by the events of the night. She carried Chiron's presence with her, a warm, comforting weight in the cold space of her life.
She looked over at the fence, at the dark, silent space where he had disappeared. She knew that this was not the end. It was a new beginning. A beginning of something dangerous, something exciting, something real. They had crossed a line, a fence, a boundary, and there was no going back.
And as she stood there, a small, slow smile spread across her face. She was ready for whatever came next.

Annie was serious about her independence. She didn't like relying on anyone. She didn't like anyone thinking she needed help or assistance in any part of her life. It was what had ruled so many of her relationships—familial, platonic, romantic, sexual—Annie hated giving up control and letting other people help her. That's why when she got stuck in the snow on her way home for work, the woman rolled her eyes and put on a slick tone when the truck pulled up behind her.
It was far too late at her to be driving in these conditions. It had snowed days ago, but the roads were still slick with ice and worsening as the temperatures fell into the night. If it was up to her, Annie would be laid up in bed with her favorite show on in the background while she scrolled through TikTok trying to entertain herself. She should have been snowed in, should have been laid up, but work had called her in that night with a stupid excuse. Something about too many servers having called out and them desperately needing her because she was the only employee who lived remotely close—but that was bullshit. She had only worked a few hours before she was sent home because what dumbass wanted to be driving in these conditions?
She'd told her managers about the roads being bad, about how she wasn't comfortable driving, but they ensured that she'd be fine. And anyway, she needed the money.
With a blooming headache and a near dead phone, the woman felt her car swerve—just slightly, just enough to strike fear into her heart before easing. But when it happened a second time, she wasn't able to turn the wheel quick enough to ease herself out. In a flash of a second, her car went from driving on the snow-covered back road to dumped off to the side in a ditch. She floored it, putting peddle to the medal in an attempt to get herself out, but nothing worked.
Frantically, she reached for her phone, unlocking it to call AAA to get her out of this mess. And like any time when the chips are already down, something else just had to go wrong. The black screen stared back at her, the low battery symbol flashing every time she attempted to turn the phone on. She'd lended her on-the-go charger to a coworker and had forgotten to get it back before leaving work, and now she was shit-out-of-luck on the side of the road—in the middle of the night and in freezing temperatures—when she could have been at home.
Her hand slammed on the steering wheel, frustration coursing through her veins and nerves spiking. This was a shitty situation, one that was worsened by the fact that she wasn't even that far from home. On a normal sun shiny day, it would have been just a five minute drive, and now she was staring at the road ahead of her, praying to be teleported to her bed.
"Why does this shit always have to happen to me," she wondered aloud. She rested back into her seat, leather pressing in from behind as she blinked back tears.
The roads around her were dark, no cars were passing by, and as the minutes creeped along, everything began to feel impossible.
She tried the car again.
She went in reverse.
She went forward.
And again, she didn't move one bit.
She was working her car hard, putting it through too much stress, pushing the limits of what it could do, and with on more tap of her foot against the gas pedal, the car went dark. Annie stared at the blinking battery light, bright red flashing at her as everything else remained dark. She turned the car off. She took a deep breath. She removed the keys before putting them back into the ignition. And when she turned them?
The car failed to start.
"Oh. My. God," she whispered into the rapidly cooling car. The temperature around her was dropping quickly, even with all her doors closed and windows raised, but she could feel the winter air pressing in. "I swear the end is near," the woman joked, mouth wide open, humorless laughs tumbling out.
When she thought it couldn't get any worse, when she thought she was at her lowest, she saw lights approaching in the distance. They encroached slowly, pressing in on her until they stopped right near where she had landed herself in the ditch.
Annie rolled her eyes. She huffed real loud. She was an independent woman. She didn't need help or assistance, and if she couldn't get herself out of this jam tonight, then she would have just walked home and taken care of it another day. But no—of course a truck had to pull up behind her; of course they had to step out and walk towards the car; and of course it had to be three men.
"You need help, sweetheart," one of them shouted through her raised window. His voice was sweet, soft around the edges in a way that made her want to roll the window down to hear it more clearly. She couldn't see well enough because of how dark it was outside, but he seemed to be the slimmest of the three—tall and lanky in a way that made her intrigue rise.
"Nah, I'm good," she lied, hiding the way she rubbed her hands together to keep warm. She turned her eyes forward, shutting them out, but they pressed on.
"You sure," another voice spoke up, slower and deeper this time. "We ain't got no jumper cables with us right now, but we can tow you to wherever you gotta go." This man was shorter—just slightly—and thick all over. His voice was deep and heavy, pooling somewhere in her body even with the window between them, but she wouldn't give in. Not yet.
"I said, I'm fine," she growled, gritting her teeth because she didn't need a man—especially not three of them.
"We got rope and everything, sugar," the sweet, slim one spoke again. "We could hook you up in a jiffy."
The woman's pulse spiked, anger setting in as she confused her embarrassment for it. She didn't need them, and as she was readying herself to bite back with words too foul for strangers who were just being kind, the third man spoke up.
"We don't mean to insinuate that you can't figure this out alone," he cut in, tone understanding, "we just wanna help where we can."
This man did something interesting to her body that Annie wasn't ready to deal with just yet. His tone was low, churning in a southern drawl that felt all too comforting. It reminded her of all the country men she'd let come into her life and take, but there was something about his tone that eased her pained heart.
He'd recognized where she might have taken offense, addressed it, and didn't press too hard in a way that made her want to give in because of any guilt. He was kind, talked rough like he couldn't be bothered, but he was kind, and that made her want to give in.
"Fine," she huffed, opening the car door. She stepped out fast, too damn quick for how much ice was around her. Losing her balance, Annie felt her foot slip out from under her; And as she convinced herself that she was about to fall face first in front of all these men, she was caught in the arms of one of them.
"I'm Quincy," the man spoke up, gripping at her sides to help her body stay on flat earth. It was the slim guy, and Annie couldn't help but notice with what ease he had kept her body from falling. The other two men were close by, hands reaching out like they'd been seconds away from catching her themselves, and it made her chest flush in heat.
"Name's Malik," the next man breathed—the second one that had attempted to get her out of the car with his words. Up close, she could notice his grills, gold and blinding even in the dark. He smiled real low, dragging his eyes over her body, and she could swear she felt her knees buckle.
She turned to the last man, the one that had spoken the least and had cemented his words the easiest. He spoke brief and ragged as his eyes penetrated her without remorse.
"Smoke," he thundered, voice wrapping confidently around the single syllable.
When she offered her name and a thank you for their assistance, the men's attention dragged to her lips immediately. They were juicy, and the way she talked—a slight edge of annoyance in her tone—made them all lean in. They could tell she didn't want help, but she'd needed it all the same. Her car was too stuck in that ditch for her to be trying to get out alone.
And she was too damn fine to be worried about something they could handle without breaking a sweat.
It all happened quick with what seemed like a practice ease but was simply instinct fueled by the need to please a beautiful woman. They had a rope and chain hooked up underneath her car before she realized it, and Smoke had already walked quietly to the truck, getting behind the wheel and pulling up closer to her car. His eyes followed her as he went, eyebrows lifting in recognition.
They had offered her a seat in the truck, some place where she could be warm while they worked, but Annie refused. She was still in her head about being able to withstand anything without help. She didn't let the shiver show, and she quieted her breath so that they couldn't see how it fogged up in the cold air; But inside she was dying—uncomfortable and freezing.
Malik made sure the connection between the truck and her car was secure; Quincy got behind the wheel of her vehicle, shifting into neutral and throwing the other two a thumbs up. Stepping back and sending her a small nod, Malik shouted toward Smoke in the driver's seat of the truck, and seconds later, they had some action.
The engine revved as the man slowly drove forward. He attempted to pull her car behind, not going at it with too much energy. He accelerated with patience, not fighting the car too much before shifting the direction of the wheel. His efforts were rewarded when the car released from its temporary hold in the snow and ice, and Annie could hear Quincy laughing brightly; She could see Malik smiling like they'd achieved the impossible; and when he got out of the truck when her car was back on solid ground, she got to witness the way Smoke clapped his hands once in finality.
He turned toward her, face settled.
"Tell us where to go, and we'll get you home safe."
Her entire body felt like it was on fire as she sat stiff in the backseat of the truck. Smoke was in the driver’s seat, Malik in the passenger, and Quincy rode behind the wheel of her car to make sure nothing went awry. Music played low from the speakers as she handed out shaky directions. OutKast, UGK, and Three 6 Mafia flooded the truck’s interior as Malik rapped along to each song, grills on display. They drive slow, but his voice crooned slower, making her lower stomach ache with heat.
Every few seconds, Smoke looked at her through the rear view mirror. His gaze was liquifying. It had her in a frenzy she was too embarrassed to name. She wasn’t supposed to feel this way about three men helping her. She wasn’t supposed to have accepted their help at all. But all of them had worked to wear down her stubbornness and had successfully achieved victory.
Even in the other vehicle, Quincy’s presence suffocated her. His personality was lighter than Smoke and Malik’s. He was always grinning like he had a secret that he only wanted her to know. That sweetness in his voice added to the effect they had on her body.
As much as she wanted to deny and ignore it, she was thankful for their help; She was grateful that it had been them to do it.
They pulled up outside of her house. Slowing to a stop, Smoke immediately threw the gear shift into park. Silent as ever, he exited the truck with precise movements. Annie’s door opened quickly, and when she had expected to see Smoke standing there, it was actually Quincy. His smile was sweet, cheeks high in delight. His hand was stretched toward her, an invitation for him to assist her with getting out.
But Annie didn’t need a man.
“I’m good,” she scoffed, rolling her eyes. “I can get out on my own.” She hadn’t meant to be rude—hadn’t meant to push past him on her way toward her car—but that's exactly how her demeanor came across to each one of the men. They all sent each other knowing looks and tight jaws, and Quincy's face in particular flashed with an emotion Annie was soon going to meet the acquaintance of.
“Damn, mama,” Malik chuckled exasperatedly, walking up behind her. She could feel his body heat pressing in close enough to warm her frozen skin. Her eyes fluttered shut, but she didn’t let the feeling sink too deep, moving away from his body and past Smoke who was unhooking her car. “That’s how you talk when people just tryna make sure you straight?”
The question made her flush, but she covered it by crossing her arms over her chest.
“I tried to tell y’all I ain’t need no help.” Her words were rough and defensive, but it didn’t deter them. Each of the men were intrigued by her sass. They could read her—how she wanted to be independent because relying on a man for most things resulted in shitty outcomes; how being honest about her need for softness in life would cost her more energy than she was ready to give; how even through her foul words, her body was quaking with a need for each and every one of them.
They needed her too. Needed that sass. Needed them mean words. Needed that softness she wouldn’t allow herself to live in.
Quincy smiled at her words, ready to point out the obvious flaw in them.
“And you were lying when you said it, too,” he cut in, grinning like he’d caught her. This time, Annie didn’t like his sweet voice and laugh—at least that’s what she told herself. She grunted, annoyed, cold, and ready to join her bed for a night of rest.
“Are you done yet,” she threw Smoke’s way. Irritation was settling in her body and the headache she had started to develop at work was pounding now. Their attention on her was too heavy, and she was beginning to find it hard to be kind while also denying what her body was feeling.
The man scoffed. He’d been hands and knees in snow, trying to get the rope off that Malik had tied too tight. His own body was growing in heat and want, and the more she fussed, the stronger the feeling grew.
“I’ll be done as soon as you done with that li’l attitude,” he threw over his shoulder, not even sparing her a glance. Annie reared her neck back in shock. If her hands weren’t holding her body close, she’d have clutched her pearls at his tone. It was rough in a way she secretly adored. Dense in a way that made her want to obey.
But this is Annie we’re talking about.
“I’m a grown ass woman,” she grumbled, repositioning her weight. She shifted everything to the other foot, cocking her hip to the side. Smoke stayed under her car, but Malik and Quincy’s eyes watched the way her body moved. The shift of her weight was delicious. Her control, even when upset, was too much and not enough all at once. Annie shook her head at the man in the ground, mouth hot. “Who the hell you think you talkin’ to?”
“He talkin’ to you, mama,” Malik pressed into her side. He’d been observing for too long without saying enough. He knew that if she kept going, she was gonna end up in something she couldn’t come back from. Quincy was the youngest of the friend group—kind and sweet and slick with his smile. Malik was laidback and easy—not expecting too much of others. But Smoke didn’t tolerate most things—especially harsh words directed at him. Malik leveled his eyes, trying to get his point across. “Best be careful of that tone. We grown ass men, too.”
“And as much as you try to hide it,” Quincy cooed near her ear, “we can still hear that humming in your body, sugar.” The accusation settled in deep, the first time any of them had mentioned the way her body was reacting to them, and she didn’t have enough leverage to hit them where it hurt.
There were three of them. One of her. So she responded in the only way she knew how.
“You don’t know me,” Annie argued. Her eyes cut into Quincy, trying to break through all that sweetness with her anger, but he just smiled like her words were honey. Smoke grunted behind her in amused annoyance, and she could feel him standing at full height again. The men pressed in on her from three directions, Quincy standing right in front of her.
“You don’t intimidate me, Anne,” he chuckled, a gentle light in his eyes as he towered over her. He watched her shiver as Malik breathed against the side of her face, thick and blocking the cold air from hitting her. Smoke’s quiet breath went down her spine teasingly, and Quincy tilted his head at the emotion that passed over her face. “When you act like that,” he continued, more mellow than any other time tonight, “it just makes me want you more.”
“You fightin’ something when you don’t need to be fightin’,” Malik rumbled into her ear. Her eyes dragged toward him slowly, moving up his thick neck, ghosting over his lips and grills. They stayed there, watching the way his mouth moved too slow and sexy—deep voice still making her body react. She turned into him slightly—almost too little for anyone to notice—and that’s when she felt a hand on her waist from behind.
“We’ll give it to you,” Smoke professed, drawling in a way that said he had all the time in the world and he was gonna use it. They weren’t letting up on her, weren’t giving her mind a break from their dense presence.
“Let us help,” Quincy cooed. He was so close now that his lips were damn near brushing hers. He moved in slowly, turned her face back toward him with light fingers, got her used to the feeling of his breath on her lips. She wanted it. They all could feel it. Annie leaned in. She was ready to capture his mouth in a sugary kiss, and as much as she pretended she wasn’t affected by them, she’d been thinking about this since he first opened his mouth. So she inched forward, but Quincy was nimble in his tease.
He pulled away.
Besides the small grin pulling at the corner of his mouth from her visible frustration, his face was a mess of stone. He’d once been soft in comparison to the other two men, but nothing was soft about the look he gave her now. He’d flipped a switch, and now she was standing before a man who wanted her to know that he could handle all that she came with. Most of her sass had been directed at him, and he couldn’t have that.
“Don’t let my sweet words fool you, sweetheart,” he hummed against her face. His chest brushed against hers, causing her to gasp and her bottom lip to tremble. “I’ll take your bratty ass through Hell just to make you act right.” Even his rebuke made her fall into him more. She was balanced between the three men. Smoke with his heavy palm pulling her back toward him. Quincy with his chest flush with hers. Malik with his fingers now moving toward her thigh—slow, steady, teasing.
She felt like her mind was about to explode. She was out here where anyone could see, on the verge of letting three men do any and everything to her.
She finally spoke up—words choking around her arousal, the cold, and the men’s too heavy energy.
“Do y’all—Y’all wanna come in?”
The question was simple, but behind it, she had many layered thoughts. She wanted to thank them in some way for their assistance and apologize for her angered-behavior. They’d been kind enough to do her a good deed and here she was being mean for no reason. She wanted to make them coffee or hot chocolate or something to say sorry—to show her appreciation.
That other layer was far less innocent though.
She needed whatever Hell Quincy was talking about. She needed Malik’s slow teasing hands running up her body. She needed Smoke’s quiet dominance, the one that with one glance made her want to shut up.
“Lead the way,” the man spoke behind her. He squeezed her waist to cement his words, and Annie didn’t second-guess a thing before she was moving around them and up to her door. Her legs felt like jello, and her stomach was flipping with every heavy step she heard behind her, every heated breath they let out. Her arousal was spiking quicker than she knew how to handle.
But the three men behind her weren’t worried about being able to handle anything she came with.
“Okay,” she began, closing and locking the front door as they all stood in her living room. Her mind was frantic, body needing a reprieve that she didn’t know how to ask for just yet. Especially not with them standing there hot behind her, eyes boring into her back. “There’s a guest bathroom down the hall right there,” she pointed past them, refusing to meet any of their eyes. She ghosted over their bodies, noticing the array of coveralls and thick gloves. She could see them more clearly than ever in the light, and it caused her breath to hitch. “There are towels and stuff in there if you need to clean up,” she rattled off, jitters on full display. “I’m—I’m gonna go get out of these clothes, then I’ll be back to make some coffee and hot chocolate. Y’all need anything?”
Her eyes finally met theirs, and the looks they gave her all but ruined her attempt to stay calm.
Quincy’s face was soft, but his head was lowered, looking over her like he could just envision the way ruin would look on her. Malik’s grin had turned wicked, grills bright and flashing as he licked his lips. He taunted her with the small, deep hum he let out, and Annie’s body reacted by straightening and turning away to the last man. Smoke’s eyes stayed on hers. His gaze unsettled her, rattled her to the core, forced her to keep watch. The way he stood there with his gloved-hands clasped in front of his body and his legs wide apart made her mouth water. The three of them dripped in confidence, leaving her aching to see more of it.
“We all good, mama,” Malik breathed.
“Thank you for the hospitality,” Quincy smiled.
“Mighty kind of you,” Smoke grumbled.
And at that, Annie turned toward the hallway. She made it to her bedroom as well as she could under her condition. Her lower body was throbbing, panties drenched from being around them for too long. And any attempt to calm her system was doomed to fail because those three men were under her roof, in her living room, using her guest bedroom like they had any real business being here. She could hear their voices through the walls, hushed between layers of drywall and insulation.
“I’m gonna lose my fuckin’ mind,” she groaned into her palms, back against her door. She made a bee-line for her bathroom, locking herself in there. Shower turned to the coldest setting, she attempted to shock her body out of arousal—but she hadn’t thought about how she’d been hot and ready for them outdoors in freezing temperatures. She cleaned her skin, groaned in exasperation, mumbled under her breath about what she was gonna do with herself once whatever this night was was over.
She was doing all of that, but she didn’t realize that she had left them to strategize.
Annie moisturized her skin with shea butter. Clothed her body in soft silk pajamas—a black matching short and tank set with lace around the edges. She looked soft with an edge like always. She wanted to turn their heads when she walked out. She wanted to show them that even with all that intimidating they were doing, she could hold her own. The woman took a deep breath, spoke to herself about being able to handle this, straightened the edge of her comforter just in case, and walked out into the living room.
All heads moved toward the hallway when they heard her house slippers making contact with the floor. Their eyes went wide, mouths went dry, hands twitched with the need to reach out.
Quincy was leaned against a nearby doorjamb, body long and lanky. Smoke was standing near her bookshelf, eyes ghosting over the titles before they snapped in her direction. And Malik was on the couch, legs spread wide. Their gloves were off and their coveralls were folded up on the arm of the couch, giving her access to the clothes that they had on underneath. Thick bootcut and straight leg jeans. Tight t-shirts that showed off their bodies perfectly.
Her mission to leave them breathless had been accomplished, but they had done the same to her. She cleared her throat, looking over at Smoke because his eyes always commanded attention.
"Who wants coffee and who wants hot chocolate," she asked, voice trying to maintain a level of strength that she was fighting to hold on to. She would fold right then and there if they asked, and with Smoke's eyes looking through her, she was ready to beg for it if necessary.
But of course those men felt the need awaken again—even before she had.
"Come here," Malik beckoned, the words bellowing up from somewhere low in his stomach. It left no room for her to disobey, and with confident feet and a sway to her hips, Annie moved toward the couch. She stood in front of him with a raised eyebrow and a hand on her hip. When the man patted his lap, eyes trailing down her legs, she didn't hesitate. She sat sideways with her knees facing the direction the Smoke and Quincy were in. Her hands folded in her lap. Her breathe became ragged, catching when he spoke. "I like it when you listen," the man groaned. His thick fingers ghosted over her thighs, leaving a path of renewed heat in their wake.
Annie scoffed—crossed her arms under her chest.
"I do what I want to do," she provoked, boasting beyond what she was even capable to handle. The man's eyebrows raised, hands stalled in amusement before continuing.
"Is that right?"
The question came from the man at her bookshelf, tone hardy—not mocking but well aware of the sass she was about to start throwing again.
She simply nodded in response since she feared the words would get stuck in her throat. Malik's hands were becoming increasingly more bold, toying with the edge of her shorts, dragging them higher to flash more of her dark skin at them.
"And what is it that you want, sweetheart," Quincy stepped forward, pushing off of the doorjamb. He stood in the middle of the room, head tilted to the side as he looked down at her. All Annie could do was silently gawk—at the way his pants fit his slim body, at the way Smoke's arms looked in that tight tee, and the way Malik's body held her in place.
The woman raised her hand to Quincy. She quirked her index finger a signal for him to move closer. The man was before her in three long strides, and when he arrived to where she was, seated atop his friend's thighs, he crouched down to her eye level.
"Yes ma'am," he threw in question, tone soft yet sturdy. He noticed her eyes on his lips when he smiled and it made the grin settle in deeper. The room turned hot in an instant, and when she finally spoke her command, all the men straightened in need.
"Kiss me," she demanded. It had been on her mind since he denied her outdoors, and she was going to collect what she was owed.
The man obliged, and when their lips connected, the room stood at attention.
Hot breaths and honeyed-tongues met as they kissed. Quincy’s mouth flushed against hers, taking on her top lip first. He practically devoured her, giving her everything she had wanted outside, everything he had kept from her. Annie gasped when his warm hand enveloped her throat, capturing her breath in one swift go. When her mouth opened, it gave his tongue extended access to her. He engulfed her. Tasted her. Ate her like she was the only thing he needed to survive.
And Smoke and Malik watched with even hungrier eyes.
“Damn, mama,” Malik groaned when he saw the woman start to suck on Quincy’s tongue, pulling it into her own mouth like a pro. He felt heat rise were she was sat—Annie’s arousal and his own—and when the woman became aware of how much he was enjoying the show, she began to rock in his lap. She grinded slowly, deeply, letting Quincy’s lips and Malik’s groans encourage her. She could feel Smoke’s eyes on her, adding to her heat. She grabbed the slim man’s throat when Malik gripped her thighs. She gave him just as much as he was giving her, and she took everything from him that she wanted. His moans. His gasps against her lips.
Before she knew it, Quincy was picking her up. He hoisted her up, hands on her ass as she wrapped her legs around his waist. The kiss never stopped, and her hand on his throat only tightened when she realized where they were headed.
He was walking toward the hall. Toward her bedroom. Smoke’s eyes flashed quick, feet moving steady toward her door to make sure it was open before they got there, and Malik followed the pair as they devoured each other.
“I knew you could put that foul mouth to good use,” Quincy moaned as he threw her on the bed. Annie bounced, chuckle escaping her when she saw Malik closing in. He settled between her open legs where the other man had been, pressing her back into the mattress and capturing her mouth. His kiss was harsher, slow in a way that was driving her crazy. He didn’t let her control a thing. Didn’t give her the opportunity to wrap her hand around his throat. When she was readying her fingers to capture him there, the man grabbed ahold of her wrists. He threw them over her head, held them there, grinded into her from below just to feel those pretty little moans spill into his mouth.
“I ain’t like, Q,” he growled, kissing down the length of her neck. “You ain’t gon’ control shit ‘round here, baby.”
Annie’s head swirled at his words, wanting so desperately to fall into his dominance, but she couldn’t allow herself to do that so easily. So she retaliated, wrapping her legs around his hips and grinding up into him. She reveled at the way the man groaned open-mouthed against her skin. She continued brutally, smile taking over her face as he fought to gain control. He was thick in his pants, and the thin material of her shorts allowed him to feel everything. Her pulse. Her heat. Her arousal.
The woman threw her head back as the man’s jeans hit her clit just right. She had more of a motivation now: the control she wanted to have over him and the need to cum from her greedy assault. She rutted, forcing him to growl from the feeling being too good.
Annie was on the verge of cumming, just seconds away. Her mind had slipped off from how euphoric she felt, and the way she had the man moaning as the others watched made her feel like her power had been restored. She was so damn close. But just before her body could fall off that cliff and into sweet bliss, Malik was ripped off of her and her pleasure was stopped.
“What the fuck,” she attempted to shout, but Smoke was in her face fast. He took the other man’s place, upper body blocking her view of anything else in the room. She couldn’t see how Malik was trying to get his bearings. She couldn’t witness how Quincy was forcing his laugh down at how deliciously reckless she was. All she could do was look Smoke in the eyes and see the heat burning behind them.
“You got some nerve, woman,” he rumbled, jaw clenched tight.
Annie’s heart beat fast—fear, anticipation, and pure desire fighting against each other. He looked at her like he could handle her attitude. Like he could rip through her bratty behavior with slick ease. She didn’t notice that a smile was growing on her face again. She didn't notice that he was ready to tear her apart. But Annie was convinced that she could hold her own. She was ready to take him on head first, and when he flipped her over, forcing her face into the bed and her back into an arch, she giggled.
“You think this funny,” he heavily breathed the question into her ear, gripping her hip in his right hand. He leaned over her, pelvis to her ass, and Annie could feel him.
“I think that look on yo’ face is funny,” she laughed, grinding her hips back into his growing bulge. She felt like she'd won. She had him turned on, had all of them on the verge of laying it on her, but something was different about Smoke. He hadn't said much all night. Had communicated mostly with his eyes and dense aura. Having affected his body in any way was a victory in itself.
She continued to grind. Continued to laugh and boast with her teeth glinting in the low light.
But Smoke froze.
Coming into view, the other two men stepped near the bed—Quincy to her right and Malik to her left.
“You shouldn’t have done that, sweet girl,” Quincy shook his head, smiling with pity. His nimble fingers lifted her chin before he pecked her lips softly. When he sank onto the bed in front of her—leaning against the headboard like he was just waiting for what was to come—confusion disturbed her earlier laugher. When she felt the hand against her ass, she started to understand his words on a deeper level.
Smoke had spanked her, hard and without restraint, leaving her trembling from the impact. Her body propelled forward. Her breath hitched. He left her no chance for her to recover before he was coming in hot once again.
He moved quick, laying smack after smack on her partially clothed ass, but the fabric was so thin that it allowed her to feel all of him. Quincy sat there with twinkling eyes. Malik’s body leaned forward as he moved toward the edge of the bed. And Smoke groaned every time Annie moaned like she was the catalyst for his growing arousal. And she was. Each hit left her skin hot and her pussy throbbing to the point that she was shivering against the mattress.
“You always a brat like this,” Smoke asked, voice dense. His southern drawl pulled out the more heated he got, and his hands never stopped laying against her flesh. He watched Annie claw at the sheets, choking around her moans, hiccuping her answer—but he couldn’t let that slide. “Words, baby girl,” he growled, spanking harder that he had before. He was becoming addicted to the way her ass recoiled, envisioning what it would be like to take her just like this.
“N-no,” she slipped out, crying in pleasurable pain. His heavy palms felt too good, hurt too bad, and she needed more. Her hips moved on their own volition seeking friction out, but he laid a hand against her back to seize her.
“Why you lyin’,” Malik spoke up, arms folded tight.
“No, I’m not,” she replied quickly, raising her voice with too much force. Smoke landed another hit to show his disapproval, and it caused her to cower. “I’m not usually a brat ‘cause I get what I want,” Annie clarified, words pulling into a whine before she could stop it. “I’m a grown ass woman, and men know to do what I say.”
“Well, see that’s where you’re wrong,” Smoke leaned into her ear. He made her mind feel cloudy. Like she was floating above the earth. He spanked her harshly again, pressing his palm into her skin to let the burn last, and the woman whimpered. “We ain’t like none of the men you don’ fucked with before. We don’t take kindly to disrespect. No matter how quiet I am or how chill Malik is or how slick Q talk. We real men, baby. And we gon’ let you be the woman you really want to be.”
When he spoke that last sentence, the moan Annie let out was obscene. As much as she’d been trying to deny it, her bratty behavior had revealed to them just how much she wanted to cave underneath them. How much she wanted to allow her body to be ruined. She’d been independent and dominant for so long that she forgot how good it could feel to let someone else dominate. It wasn’t about giving up her independence or stripping herself of control. It was simply about trust and pleasure and fulfillment—freeing her mind and body and letting them take over.
She nodded into the mattress, mouth letting out soft pleas and apologies. She melted. Into the bed. Into his palm on her ass. Into the charged energy that surrounded her. Annie allowed herself to relax and let them lead her to ecstasy, and she was awarded with a soft kiss to her bare shoulder from Smoke. A light tap on her thigh. A squeeze to her ass. A good girl whispered into her ear.
Quincy moved first. He’d been waiting patiently for his turn to come around again, and when Smoke stepped away, he was immediately filling his space—not allowing any warmth to be pulled away from her. He smoothed his hands over her skin and ghosted his fingers over her flushed ass. Easing the hand-shaped welps and bruises beginning to rise, the man moved his fingers to the waistband of her silk shorts. He tugged them down past her hips and over the swell of her ass to be greeted with nothing underneath.
Annie wasn’t wearing any panties, and the view of her bare skin had all three men on the verge of breaking.
“Sugar,” the man slurred, drunk off the sight. Her shorts were laying in the floor beside his feet, and his attention was locked on her. Her pussy was glistening in need, arousal coating her lips as she clenched around nothing. His voice was sweet against her skin and his hands were still moving along the marks Smoke had created.
“Please, Quincy,” she cried, pushing her hips back into his hands. If she’d been ready to beg before, she certainly was ready to beg now. And she did, stuttering over her words as she pleaded for him to ease the aching in her body. She could feel his breath against her pussy, only causing her to need it more.
The sound of his name being moaned over and over again by the woman succeeded in making him give in. But he never planned to make her wait too long. He just wanted to make sure that she understood one thing: if she had a need, he was gonna supply it and make sure she enjoyed every single second.
When he made contact with her throbbing center, it was completely different from how their kiss had been. He took his time now. Went slow and sweet. Whispered praises into her body to the point that she could feel it in her stomach. He made sure to learn her first, every spot that made her moan, every edge that forced her fingers to grip at the sheets.
His tongue caressed her folds, swirling around her clit and listening for that hitch in her throat.
Annie was quickly losing her mind at the way his full lips fit around her. He was taking his time, letting her adjust as he worked to find what she liked best, and that level of care made her pussy flutter against his tongue.
“Tell me what feels best, sweetheart,” he demanded into her folds, words vibrating through her. Her moans spiked, hands attempting to steady her shakiness by tightening around the sheets. When she spoke, her words were broken.
“I wa-want you to suck on it,” she directed, and when he filled her request, he switched from going slow and steady to sucking her harsh and quick. He couldn’t get enough of her taste—sweeter than any word out of his mouth—and he was enjoying it so bad that his hands gripped her thighs to keep her in place.
She tried to run. Tried to fight how much he was making her feel. But Quincy was in charge now. Not Smoke. Not Malik. Not Annie.
He sucked on her clit, swallowing her arousal past the point of her being able to handle it. Her arms fell, making her collapse into the mattress, but he kept her hips up and her legs open. He used his body to make sure she stayed there—even as she trembled against the bed.
Tears sprang from her eyes, and she felt pathetic in the most glorious way—worship to the point of early ruin. As her face grew more and more wet, her lower body doing the same, she made eye contact with Malik. Her head had turned his way to see him sitting back on the bed—shirt gone and pants unbuttoned. His dick stood at attention, but he didn’t touch it. He just watched her be devoured, and when their eyes met, his dick jumped.
“Pl-please,” Annie begged, pouting to show the man how much she needed him. A grin grew on his mouth, and he licks his lips when Annie bit hers from the sight of his arousal alone. He let her have it, but not before laying down some conditions first.
“If you don’t listen,” he began, leaning toward her as she forced herself back into a better position, “I’m gon’ take your mouth in whatever way I see fit.” The woman felt her head moving involuntarily as she watched him pull his pants and briefs off. He moved toward her, and as she got back on her hands, he grabbed her jaw. Tears were still streaming because of Quincy’s assault, and every few seconds, she was moaning loud. “Go slow,” he groaned as she stuck her tongue out. Her jaw dropped with ease, becoming slack to accommodate his size.
She sucked the tip first—slow.
She closed her eyes. Let the smooth taste of his precum fill her mouth. Let his thick fingers tangle in her hair.
He guided her at first to make sure she understood his direction, and when she moaned from the feeling of Quincy sucking her clit, he hissed. He was still on edge from earlier when she’d nearly cum by using him to get off. The memory was going to be burned into his head way past this night, and when Annie’s lips grew confident around his dick, he released her head.
She took him further, eyes on his face to see every emotion as they arose. His grills sparkled when his mouth dropped open. Her tongue was dragging along the underside of his length, tracing his vein and pulling his arousal toward her. Annie was determined to listen, to obey, to be praised.
“Just like that,” he breathed, hands shaking at his sides.
At the lower end of her body, Quincy was sucking her clit and fucking her with two fingers. He was pulling moans from her throat left and right, allowing them to wrap around Malik’s dick as she deep-throated him. Annie steadily eased him into her mouth, so deep that her nose touched his hot skin.
“This pussy so good,” Quincy moaned, encouraging the other man to speak as well.
“Nigga, this throat no fuckin’ joke,” Malik threw his head back, eyes on the ceiling. He wasn’t trying to cum so soon, but even with Annie going slow it wasn’t enough. “Let up for me some, mama,” he breathed, but Annie didn’t respond accordingly. The praise they had delivered was swirling in her ears, blocking anything else from her mind. Her mouth only wanted to do the opposite of what he originally ordered. She sucked him fast. Real fast. Pulling him into her mouth and hollowing her cheeks, she moaned at the way he quivered. His thighs shook violently, and at the same time, her body was beginning to succumb to Quincy’s mouth.
She kept going even as Malik’s hand gripped her hair. She took him down her throat like she meant business, but when he pulled her back and forced her eyes on him, she realized her mistake.
“Oh, shit,” she whispered, apologies formulating on her tongue. “I’m—I’m so sorry—”
“Nah,” he shook his head, forcing her to shut up. “You just had one order to adhere to, and you couldn’t do it.” The man tsked, a wicked look flashing in his eyes. “Open your mouth,” he bellowed, the command coming out cold. She looked behind her, hoping to meet the slim man’s eyes, but he was too busy making her legs shake. She looked to the right to find Smoke, and there he was, sitting in a chair with his dick in his hands and his eyes just as frigid as Malik’s words.
There was no one to save her from her own actions, and she wasn’t even sure she wanted to be saved. Folding without having to be ordered again, she dropped her jaw.
Malik set his pace—slow. His girthy length filled out her mouth and stretched her throat, and just as she thought he’d let her off easy, the man began to fuck her face—slow but deep and harsh. He took back the little bit of leash he had given her. If she couldn’t obey, then he’d make her.
None of the men in the room batted an eye when she was gasping around him. This was her punishment for not listening, for disobeying simple instructions.
And Annie was in heaven.
Having three men in on her pleasure and punishment was enough to make her heart feel full. With Malik fucking her throat, Quincy fucking her pussy, and Smoke ducked off in a corner with his eyes in her, hands on his length, and energy radiating around her, she felt on top of the world.
Her climax was rising fast, coming back to her after her previous denial at the hands of Smoke. Her hips grinded against Quincy’s face, and her moans continued to spew from her mouth despite the obstruction.
She came in an instant, body seizing in pleasure. Her eyesight blurred. Her ears rang. One hand gripped the sheets while the other reached back to find Quincy’s hand. She felt out of control of her own body in the best way. She treasured the feeling of her skin flushing in heat all over.
As she moaned through the orgasm, Malik’s hips began to snap quick. He picked up his pace, dragged her face up higher with a hand under her chin. When he saw her eyes roll back, that was his final straw. He finished down her throat, muttering slow curses at the way she gulped around him.
Annie swallowed every drop.
“Fuckin’ filthy,” Malik huffed, throat cloudy and shaking just the slightest bit. The other man was still behind her; He worked to ease her down, tongue moving softly against her folds, capturing the slick juices she’d given him. Annie sighed in content, allowing her body to fall against the mattress again. Stomach flush against her sheets, arms down at her side, the woman’s eyes drifted closed for just a moment before they were forced open by the sound of a voice.
“Nah, wake on up, woman,” Smoke evoked from the chair. His eyes were low. Clothes long gone. Dick on display. Annie opened her eyes to see every bit of him, and the shudder that took over her body was seen by all of them. Even Malik who was recovering from his orgasm. Even Quincy who was still reveling in the taste of her on his lips. “Get that ass over here.”
The woman’s steps were shaky, her balance long forgotten somewhere between one man’s plush lips and another man’s heavy arousal. She attempted to quiet the tremble, rolling her hips as she glided toward him. Her hands pulled at the bottom of her silk tank, guiding it over her head and into a pile of other clothes just as she made it to him.
Annie didn’t need to be told what to do next. Smoke’s eyes communicated it all. She straddled him, legs pressing into him from both sides, and when she felt her skin fall against his, her head fell back in ecstasy. Her pussy was still dripping with no clear end in sight. She was feral, aching in a way that had them all on high alert. Smoke dragged her forward by her waist, and he lined himself up.
“You want it,” he questioned.
“Ye-yes,” she cried.
“You sure,” the man prodded, eyebrow raised.
“I swear,” Annie pressed, feeling beyond desperate. Her thighs were already shaking again, pelvis pressing into his as he denied her still. “Please. Please let me have it, baby.” She let out a sharp whine as she forced her chest against his. She folded herself into his hold. Face in his neck. Hands on his shoulder. Pelvis flush with his. She didn’t dare attempt to grind her hips like she had before. He’d taught her that lesson already, so instead, she made sure her pussy was right on his length, pulsing against him in need.
She cried into his tawny skin when she felt him throbbing beneath her, and she forced her hips down with greater strength.
“Please,” she asked once more, gasping when he didn’t give her a second to adjust before he was settling her onto his dick. Smoke forced her hips down, trusting once just to feel her clench, then he just stopped. He took his hands off of her and rested his back against the chair. When she opened her eyes after giving herself a second to breathe, confusion took over her face. One second he was touching all over her and forcing her body to give in, and the next he was pretending like the position they were in was normal—casual.
Smoke’s face was flat, but when she looked in his eyes, his pupils were blown.
“If you want it so bad, then you gon’ work for it,” he spanked the side of her ass. Heat bloomed there again, reminding her of each hit he’d laid on her before. He had wanted to show her who he was and why she was to listen to every word he said. He did it to punish her. He spanked her to strike fear in her heart, and as his hit was left steaming in her bare thigh, she showed him that he’d accomplished his goals.
Annie rose up on her knees and prepared herself to listen to every word he said. She took a deep breath and maintained eye contact. She was wrapped around just the tip before she let herself fall onto it. The screams of pleasure she let out were downright pornographic. Loud and indecent, Annie moaned and cried at finally being able to let her ache be handle again—even if she had to put in the work. Smoke’s jaw clenched and his fists tightened. She felt too damn good, and she deserved to have help with guiding his dick through her ache, but this was the second lesson that he was dedicated to teaching her. He needed her to be left desperate for his hands on her smooth skin so that when he finally gave it to her, she would just break apart.
Her pussy was fluttering and gushing all over him, and Smoke was becoming addicted to that pulse.
“This dick so good,” she cried, beginning to crumble already. But Smoke wasn’t going to allow that. The man had strict standards.
“Straighten up,” he gritted his teeth, words penetrating her beneath the surface. “And keep them eyes where I want them.” Smoke dared her to let her lids fall closed, to fold her body up, to stop putting in the effort. This is what she wanted, so she was going to work for it the right way.
Whining about the need for more, Annie nearly froze when a hand gripped the back of her neck—just once, just briefly. She smelt the grilled-grin without even needing to turn her head. He didn’t touch her any more than that, just let the feeling of his hand linger.
“I think you can do better than that, mama,” Malik churned in her ear. His voice was hot and tantalizing, and Annie felt renewed when she remembered that she was being watched—that eyes were on her. Even as Malik’s presence started to fade away as he moved toward the bed again and watched her work, she could feel him and Quincy, could hear the slight sound of the slimmer man unzipping his pants with his eyes on her bare back.
Malik’s words had been the encouragement that she needed. It made her heart jump and her pulse quicken.
Annie rose up, eyes on Smoke, hands on his shoulders for leverage. She watched his eyebrow raise, but she couldn’t answer at gesture with her words right now. She knew they’d betray her, so instead she placed her feet into the large chair, flat into the spaces beside the man’s thighs. She was ready to ride appropriately now—ready to show them that she could listen.
Smoke swallowed thickly when he saw her rise. She reached in the space between their bodies, and guiding his tip to her entrance, Annie wasted no time in beginning to ride.
The way her hips snapped was brutal. She set and pace and maintained it, fucking herself to an early finish as the man sat there in awe. She was showing him what she was made of, making his eyes sparkle, forcing his thighs to clench up in order to calm himself down. Annie showed him the beast she was. She showed him how good she could obey, how beautifully she could submit. Even as she left him quaking, she didn’t for a second think that she had the upper hand. She’d be stupid to confuse the situation just because she was taking them both through there.
Smoke’s eyes shifted. Barely noticeable. He’d looked behind her toward the bed, and that made her heart spike quickly. Her hips faltered. Her legs began to sting.
And he felt it.
“Nah, don’t be worried ‘bout nothing but this,” he demanded, voice dense and smoky.
Annie let out a shaky yes sir and breathed through the heat that was rising.
“Please help me,” she cried. Her calves ached, and no matter what she did, it didn’t feel like she was getting where she needed to be quick enough. Smoke just stared at her, no ounce of pity visible. “Please, baby,” she tried again. She ducked her face into his neck again, this time kissing and sucking on his skin while she rode slower. “I need it so bad. I need it deeper and harder than I can do myself. I need help, Smoke.” Her admission was what snapped the tension. She’d gone from sitting in her car trapped around ice and refusing any of their help to riding his dick and begging for it. That’s just what he needed—her desperate and fluttering for him.
“Look at you,” he remarked, eyes finally leaving hers to trail down her body. He lit a path of heat everywhere he went. “I knew you had it in you, baby girl. I knew you was a desperate slut who just needed to be taken care of.” He shook his head, watching the way she faltered at being called such a name. She’d gripped him harder, rode him stronger. It brought a dark smile to his lips. “You want to be my desperate, greedy li’l slut,” he goaded, “or my good girl?”
The question was loaded with too many possibilities of what he really meant. Either way, he was demanding something of her, and Annie was ready to meet that need.
“B-both,” she shuttered. “I want both. Please. Let me have both.”
Her posture was falling with each time she rose and fell of his length. It made the men behind her chuckle—one sweet and one low—prickling heated embarrassment along her spine.
Without a second to realize the shift, Smoke grabbed her hips, halting her in place. Annie looked through him confused and needy, but when he settled into the chair, planted his feet, and began fucking her from beneath, her mind went blank. The man was fucking her so good, dragging his shit along her walls and easing every ache she’d ever had. Head tipping back in pleasure, Annie’s neck and chest were left on full display to the man rearranging her inside. He was displeased. The second he took over, she forgot their training, his rules. He pulled all the way out to the tip, and when he thrusted into her again, he pulled her hips down at the same time. Effectively getting her eyes to snap back open, Annie was ready to yell and shout her annoyance. Then she saw his face—deep scowl, veins popping, jaw locked—and she cowered.
She realized what she’d done wrong, and it had her apologizing profusely.
“I—I’m so sorry,” she choked. “I ain’t mean it. It was an accident I swear. I’m your good girl, Smoke.”
“I don’t think you are,” he tsked, pulling out and repeating the motion again. He kept going just to hear the way her breath hitched around a filthy moan. Her pussy tightened up around him, and his eyebrows raised. “You enjoying this shit?” He looked at her with his eyes low, and Annie couldn’t handle it, tucking her face into his chest. He made eye contact with the men behind him—both amused by her behavior, both envious of the fact that they simply had to watch. But Smoke had been sat patiently before, so they could wait patiently if not at all.
The man was fed up with Annie’s behavior. She was still whining into his chest, and since he wasn’t guiding his length through her at the moment, she took matters into her own hands. She grinded against him, hips moving wild and reckless—and he let her. He allowed her to think she had the upper hand for once because somehow she’d forgotten who she was dealing with. She’d started off slow, testing the waters, and when he didn’t retaliate, she foolishly thought she was in the clear. A chuckle rumbled from the man’s gut, disturbing her grind. The sound of it made fear spike in her body, and everything stilled.
Her face was in his chest.
His hands were on her ass.
The men behind them were completely unmoving.
When he spoke, it was rough and callous.
“Pussy so fuckin’ desperate that you ready to risk yo’ life,” Smoke growled, hands tightening their hold on her hips. His body was hot, ready to turn her all the way out. He knew it wouldn’t take long for her to cum, and he wanted her to feel the effects of it for as long as possible. “You always act this stupid ‘bout some dick,” he questioned, jaw tight. “You always this damn greedy like you ain’t got no fuckin’ sense?” He forced her eyes on him, hand wrapped around her throat, and all Annie could do was moan and shake her head no and grind into him. He let out a humorless laugh, shaking his head at how badly she needed it. “Pathetic.”
Smoke switched their position quick. He picked her up off his lap and had her turned around, bent over the arm of the chair with her face in the cushion before she could even begin to fight back. He made sure her head was turned toward Quincy and Malik, and for the first time since she sat on Smoke’s lap, she could see how much they were ready to ruin her. Quincy’s shirt and pants were long gone, boxer briefs tights on his deep skin. He leaned back while watching her, light in his eyes. Malik was fully bare. His elbows rested on his knees as he watched every second of the show like he was ready for his turn to take over. She clenched around nothing, grinded back into Smoke’s hands.
But she wasn’t controlling anything from here on out.
Smoke set a punishing pace. Hitting the back of her vagina fast, rough, and deep, Annie was already beginning to fall apart. He was hitting every spot on demand, and with the impact of his thrusts, his balls kept hitting her clit. She felt like she was dying or floating of somewhere in between worlds, and that was before he even started growling into her ear again.
“You like bein’ a slut, don’t you?” The question was rhetorical. Every person the room could tell that she was living for this—she didn’t mind getting in trouble or being denied the right to cum or being fucked silly. She trusted their control, felt safe at the mercy of their hands.
“I love being a slut,” she moaned, crumbling under the weight of his hand on her back. “I’m your whore,” she barked. She forced her legs to part more. She deepened her arch. She looked at the other two men like she’d let them eat her alive and vice versa.
Her mind was gone. And her body had surrendered.
Smoke quickened his pace, feeling the flutter of her walls increase. Her cries rose, apologies and declarations spilling into the air, and when she finally came, her voice only heightened in volume.
Annie was sputtering on the dick, mouth spewing nonsense as she felt herself be thrusted from earth. Everything felt too good—even the punishment, even the name-calling, even the denial. Smoke held her there, stroked her through the waves, allowed her to grind just a little to ease her erratic heart.
When she came down from her high, Smoke left her there crumbled against the chair, but she wasn’t there long before Quincy was scooping her up in his arms. The man loved to feel all her weight in his hands, loved knowing that she couldn’t even begin to doubt his ability to handle her. He laid her on the bed gently, kissed down her neck softly, filled his hands with her. When his length slide in, she immediately noticed the difference between him and Smoke. It wasn’t as thick but just as long with a slight bend to it, and when he eased himself in, they both moaned unabashedly at the feeling of his head dragging along her walls.
Annie felt crazy to still be this needy after all Smoke had put her through. After the way Malik had filled her mouth and throat. After the way Quincy had ate her out. But her need was insatiable.
“Quincy,” she moaned the man’s name as he stroked her at a steady pace, knocking into her walls and making them both shake. Her legs were wrapped around his back, and her arms pulled him down to her lips, but he didn’t allow the kiss to land just yet. He kept her waiting. Kept her needy. Her whimpers ghosted over his lips, and he opened his mouth to let every one of them fall down the back of his throat.
“You feel as good as you taste,” he chuckled, smile breaking out on his face while her hands pulled at his upper body. “You soft,” he roared, grabbing her ass and beginning to fuck deeper. “You sweet and too damn pretty when you whining like this.” He landed kisses on her throat and down the side of her neck. When his lips eased their way toward her ear, he kissed the shell of it and whispered lowly. “Keep them moans coming, sweetheart,” he demanded. “I like to know you enjoy everything I have to give you.”
The woman acted accordingly. She moaned. She cried. She screamed. She’d never been handled so well by a man of his size, but it was something about the way he picked her up with ease and dragged his hands over every inch of her body while stroking that drove her crazy. The man awarded her with a kiss then—when she let him hear how good her body felt. Every bit of it was addicting, making her mind swirl with thoughts of more kisses beyond tonight. It was true that each of the men had impacted her body in that way. With Quincy, it was his sweet voice and claiming kisses. With Malik, it was his thick hands, slow smile, and dazzling grills. And with Smoke?
With Smoke it was everything: how he watched her, how he analyzed her words, how he moved like a cloud of smoke before settling in deep, how he handled her brattiness without batting an eye, how he thrusted so hard and so mean that it retrained her how to act right.
They all had something that she needed and craved, and they each were taking turns fucking that truth out of her.
The energy changed though when two of them decided to unearth that truth at the same time.
Malik was on his back, feet pressed into the mattress, knees spread wide, hands on Annie’s hips as he fucked her harshly—too deep, too rough. His dick was thicker than the other men’s, and the stretching her body had to undergo to accommodate his girth was obscene. She’d tried to ride him, but once he began whispering slowly, grinning at every cry she let out, the woman gave up and let him take over. Her hands were planted in the sheets on either side of his head as he thrusted aggressively.
That’s when she felt the other man begin to drag his nimble fingers down the center of her back. Sweetness surrounded her once again.
“You gon’ take both of ‘em,” Smoke stepped to the side of the bed, causing her body to shiver from the heat in his voice. She knew what he was insinuating and knew how she was going to be left in a pile of exhaustion when they were done with her. Quincy was behind the woman with his hands gripping at her back and sides, and all she could do was nod. If that was what they wanted, then that was what she was going to do. She’d become impossibly submissive over the course of this night, and with the three men crowding her, it only worsened and settled beneath her skin.
“That pussy flutterin’,” Malik commented in amusement, chasing that feeling and pulling more of it out of her. He snapped his hips up. He thumbed her clit.
“Why y’all doin’ me like this,” Annie pleaded, chasing his thumb with her pelvis. She felt like they were going to be the death of her. Smoke was still watching but standing closer now, eyes hot as he held his dick. Malik was pounding her brutally, continuously making sure she knew how good she felt around him and how nasty she was being for needing them this bad. And Quincy was closing in on her.
“We're just treating you like the pretty little thing you are,” the man purred, length pressed against her ass. “We know you want it just like this. Just this hard. Just this soft. Just this punishing. You want it right, sweet girl?”
The question left her mouth dry—mind unable to comprehend the amount of desire coursing through her body—but that didn’t stop the way she begged profusely for him to take her to the edge and make her scream.
Quincy pulled her upright so that Malik was still hitting her from below, but now he could press his chest into her back. He kissed along her neck, whispering sweet words and making her tired muscles relax. She heard the way he spat on his tip and the way he moaned when her spine shivered. Hips beginning to grind down on Malik, Annie grew more ready by the second.
The man journeyed carefully, patience dripping off of him. Annie was loosening her tension, trusting him the more he kissed her shoulder. From below, Malik was also slowing. It had been a silent agreement between both men discussed with a simple glance over Annie’s shoulder. Malik was still circling her clit to add as much pleasure to their pursuit as possible, but when Quincy’s dick tapped her back entrance, the woman tightened up. It wasn’t much—just enough for them all to see the way her eyes flashed closed, eyebrows pulling in close.
Smoke moved back in. He grabbed her jaw as lightly as he could conjured up, and when she fluttered her eyes open—pout on her lips—the man kissed her for the first time tonight. He’d been avoiding it because he knew how addictive it would be, and when their mouths met in that greedy assault, he felt like his future was being laid out before him—Annie right at his side.
The kiss had done for her as he’d hoped. Her body was mush as he took her tongue down his throat, and the man behind her had no issue capturing her body now.
Annie fluttered around him as Quincy’s tip moved in, but she didn’t reject it this time. She was being worship from all directions: lips on hers, dick dragging along her walls, fingers toying with her clit, smoky hands now playing with her titties, and soft, sweet dick claiming her in a way she’d never allowed before. She sank in the glory of it all. Let him stretch her. Let them take her through every pleasurable moment. When he was most of the way in, Annie was trembling around them, but they held her steady, kissed her like the precious thing she was.
She couldn’t believe this was how her night had turned out: from stranded in a ditch to fucking three men like she’d done it a million times before. But she’d be lying if she said she didn’t feel good. The woman was on top of the world, and she got there because she was an independent woman who knew when to trust herself to let others in.
The three of them watched as Annie went limp. It wasn’t like the other times when her mind left her for only a moment. This was deep and long-lasting. She was slack all over, head dropped back to Quincy’s shoulder, hand loose at Smoke’s hip, pussy gaping as Malik hit from below. They all decided to go harder, to pull her quicker toward the climax that was etching itself onto her face. Increasing their efforts, they fucked deeper, talked to her harsher, sucked on her nipples and rubbed her clit like they had a point to prove.
Annie was theirs—even when she was independent. They’d take care of every one of her aches—even when she felt like asking was a burden. They’d all be attracted to that fiery, stubborn woman, but they wanted her to know that it was okay for others to pick up the things she couldn’t handle, for others to make her feel good when she deserved it.
The woman let out breathy moans as tears of elation streamed down her face. They were fucking her with everything they had, and the entire room felt her breaking at once.
“That’s our good li’l slut,” Smoke growled, making Annie moan from the mix of sweet and harsh words. Just as her orgasm was about to hit, she fluttered her eyes open to see Smoke latched to her chest, one hand on her waist and the other wrapped firm around his dick as he fucked himself to the sound of her. It pushed her just that much more over the edge, and she couldn’t stop how violently her body reacted.
Cum ran down her legs and between all of their bodies as Annie squirted. Her entire body shook—eyes rolling in the back of her head, entrances tightening around the men inside her, moans being shouted now instead of mumbled. She cried in delicious euphoria, she let them know over and over again how grateful she was.
Each of her men were close behind her. Malik and Quincy continued to stroke her through it, slower but just as determined, and Smoke rocked himself into his hand. They came back to back, Quincy pulling out as softly as he could and cumming all over Annie’s back and ass, Malik rubbing his head against her clit before letting go on the mound of her pussy, and Smoke right there on her hip and the side of her stomach.
They marveled at the contrast of white against her dark skin, how it glittered off of her, how the woman moaned more once she felt it on her already hot body.
When her body eventually gave out from all of the pleasure, they felt it happen, arms wrapping around her before she could slip.
They moved in a similar manner as they had with her car: motivated by the shear fact that they wanted her safe and comfortable. They leaned her down onto Malik’s chest and let her rest there as soft whines escaped her mouth. She clung to him, hands wrapping around his biceps, but he wasn’t planning to let go anytime soon. Quincy moved to get Annie a towel—cool and wet—so that he could wipe her skin off. He moved slowly as she let out cries at being disturbed, but he eased her worry just as Smoke had finished removing the ruined comforter from one side of the bed.
They got her comfortable under a light sheet, and once he finished his task, Smoke was the first one to lay at her side. He pulled her into his chest, smoothed her wild hair with his hand, kissed her forehead. She was calm again, and as her tired body drifted off to sleep, the other two men crowded into the bed alongside them.
