Well fans...Sundays learning curve in the Amateur Unlimited GP Race at Homestead-Miami Speedway reared it's ugly head when a battle with another rider caused me to make a bad move and apply to much throttle on the amazing Suzuki GSX-R 1000. Coming out of turn 8 there is a small bump that causes the front to either get light or lift...well it lifted a hair and when I jumped on the gas to out drive the other rider I looped the bike...I was covering the back brake and already had my weight on the tank, but it happened so fast that I couldn't recover. The good news is that I got a 4th in class for my F-40 unlimited race earlier in the day and learned a lot about riding the 1000 since it was the first time racing on this track and on a 1000.
