TREX’ITTI MATRIARCH
The pan-Rendaraian Trex'Itti are a distinct offshoot from the Trexians of Nuridanaia. Trexians can change size at will from average Elvereshi height to their resting state, which is a hand a half tall. In their dimunitive state, they are able to fly. However, at this size, they are also prey to the bioluminescent Felluste'Adda (flying jellyfish-like creatures). Their homeland is free of this foe, but , should they venture out, they test their fate. The Trex'Itti, a subset of the Trexians, have solved this problem by tattooing themselves with the biolumenescent bacteria that makes the Felluste'Adda glow. It provides them with a camouflage that keeps them safe from their primary natural predator, but on the flipside, it prevents them from changing back to their larger size, keeping them locked in their miniature form.
The Trex'Itti are a strongly matriarchal society. Mature Trex'Itti females wield powers both magical and social that are held in the highest of esteem. Elders like this matriarch are revered as wise, strong, and powerful protectors of the tribe.
