The pack strapped to his back was beginning to feel twice as heavy, shoulders starting to ache. The blond could only adjust the straps so many times before he himself grew tired of the routine. He knew the assassin liked his space when it came to directions, but this was ridiculous.

"Seriously man, I'm tired. We seriously can't be far from our destination."

The blond cooed while adjusting his sleeves. Letting his callused thumb rub against the gold cufflinks a little longer. Admiring the amount of tailoring and craftsmanship that went through the suit to fit him like a glove. Few final looks in the mirror, his hand grasping at the collar of his coat, a brow arched. With his hair slicked back so nice, he couldn’t help himself.

“I’ll admit, I didn’t think being your ‘back-up’ required me to wear something like this. I haven’t worn a suit this nice since… well… my wedding day..!”

Slamming one shot glass after another, the Blond wiped dripping tequila from his mouth. His bruised eye still pulsing from last night, that terrible night. Lucky for him, happy hour was just starting and it doesn’t end til every last customer’s in a coma, and this blond knew how to hold his liquor.

The chatter in the bar was beginning to muffle, and his vision started to blur. Playing tricks. Was he holding one glass, or three? His cut lip was hard to find as his hand kept bumping into his nose. Spilling the drink on his face, the liquid sliding down his stubbled neck, feeling it continue onto his chest. Just as he was ordering his next shot, he felt a strong pat against his shoulder. A filthy hand covered in dried motor oil. The unstable blond brushed it off.

“Pssssh, Scoot man! Shuudn’t bother a man when he- he’s buuusy.”

It’s been too long since the Commando played the stash of films he and his Psycho collected. Unfortunately, the insane child couldn’t handle the old-fashioned movies. The tales of sad love stories, couples overcoming tragedy and strengthening bonds. It was always best to watch movies with someone though, no need for a lonely night. The Boss had her own affairs to attend, Gaige and Sal are early sleepers. Zer0 is, well… Zer0…

Shockingly, the blond was able to snag the Raiders’ new chief. They’ve never been in a room alone before, it was wonderful surprise. She didn’t seem to mind and Axton got to enjoy the company. The drinks and snacks out, picking a wonderful classic, the night was turning out great.

As the film progressed toward the end, the climax beginning to descend. Without thought, he peered over to his plum-lipped date, to see tears stream down her blushed cheeks. Face remaining stoic, as if she herself did not notice. No hesitation, the blond Commando stopped the film in panicked aid.

“Whoa whoa! I-I’m sorry! I should’ve been more sensitive about the movie selection. I-I should’ve asked what you wanted to see!”
