Finished a hat! Another attempt at the crochet slip stitch slow hat pattern I’ve been using it’s a thick yarn so I only needed to make three triangle top flaps to achieve head circumference. I wish I’d known that would be the case when I started because I would’ve made the angle of the flaps more acutely so it wouldn’t have that little bloop at the top but whatever. It’ll probably go to a niece anyway so it’s not like they’re super critical. I am getting better at attaching the pom poms I think, even if my skill at making them in the first place still sucks. I like making the pom poms as a way to use up the remainder of a skein of yarn to match the hat. I almost thought I’d run out of yarn this time, but thankfully it worked out.
I used a 6.5mm hook and mandala watercolors yarn in the icy grape color.
