im pretty sure ur not gonna die from this bc its 3:40 am and im drawing and its an all known fact that drawings made in the early hours are shit in broad daylight
so ive played honest hearts before but i was kind of annoyed and distracted by all the fetching-things quests (idk why i cant stand those?) and ill admit i did not really pay too much attention to joshua graham. i know his basic story but what is it u like so much about him?
And also on a more personal level, I find him to be really inspirational because his life as he knows it basically gets destroyed (goes up in flames, if you will), and not only does he get back up and keep going, but he actually becomes a better person for it? I have fibromyalgia and i feel like i can relate to him somewhat because of that; if you ask him about it, he mentions that his skin always feels like it's still burning, and granted it's not exactly the same thing, but having a chronic pain disorder I understand what that's like, y'know? In pain constantly, and yet he still manages to be collected and get stuff done, find a sense of purpose get on with his life. I'd like to get to that point someday soon.
Like I know I might seem like I have my life together online, because I try not to post negative things to my blog, but in real life I'm kind of a wreck; I had to drop out of school and sacrifice a lot of things I cared about because I had no idea how to handle my pain, and seeing someone who's gone through the same sort of thing and come out on top, even if they are a video game character, means a lot to me and this got really sappy and lame really fast I'm very sorry about that but, well, that's a good part of why I like him
I made a readmore post about this a couple days ago after therapy but it's also incredibly sappy and lame you've been warned
