The power of accountability to build better habits
How do the 35ers act around each other's significant others? Like are they the friends that give the intimidating break my friend's heart and i'll break your face or..?
For the most part the Tribe of Five is cordial until said significant other gives them reason to either love them or hate them. Certain friendships (i.e. Chloe and Hallie) do get automatic reactions though.
When it comes to Hallie, Chloe is very much a “break her and I break you” kinda gal and vice versa.
Kellan and KAO team up to threaten any boy who manages to get the privilege of dating Vanessa. Like imagine a taller version of HAO and an Alex Morgan look alike telling you that if you screw up, they know how to hide a body.
I wouldn’t want to challenge that tbh
How did the 15ers react to the girls' first relationships? Did the sex talk go down?
HAO and Kaitlan talk about EVERYTHING. So Kait had no problem asking difficult questions and Heather had no problem asking them.
Alex and Tobin never gave Kellan a formal lecture on sex but dropped little pieces of advice and information every now and then. Any questions Kellan had she usually just texted A-Rod or Lauren.
Syd sat Vanessa’s ass down when she began dating her first boyfriend at 15 and gave her a LENGTHY lecture on sex, dating, etc. Filled with personal anecdotes and terrible puns of course. Syd also threatened to unleash Boss on any and all boyfriends Vanessa brought home.
Surprisingly it was Kelley who panicked about her daughter beginning to date. Chloe was Mama’s lil squirrel and Kell cried after Chlo’s first date. It was Hope who sat Chloe down, about 30mins before said date, and gave her a quick lil info sesh.
Hallie and Ali went on multiple coffee dates, just the two of them, every time something new and unexpected came up in Hal’s personal life. Whether it was dating boys or dating a girl for the first time, Hallie always went to Ali to talk it out. Ash was okay with it, she played the part of cool-headed-daddy best anyway.
How did the 35ers feel about and deal with going to separate colleges?
They handled it pretty well, considering they spent some of the year apart while their parents played for their NWSL teams.
Kellan was nervous. Especially since she got a ton of flack for attending Duke instead of UNC.
Kaitlan was unfazed, she’s always been super malleable and going to UNC was just another thing to check off her list.
Hallie cried because Ali cried but once she moved into her dorm room with Chloe the kid was fine.
Chloe was stoked to live on The Farm. Kelley had hyped her up with stories from her glory days. Although she did tear up saying goodbye to Hope. Big bad goalkeepers do in fact cry when their daughters leave for college.
Vanessa was Vanessa and all but bolted for the gates of USC. Even if she did miss her mommy at night.
