Happy Humpday Tribe!! ππΏ . . Besides knowing how to braid my own hair, sewing my own clothes is another one of my many super powers. Fun fact! I make 80 % of my own clothes, some of that percentage is thrift flips. I love that feeling of seeing clothes that I love, knowing that I can replicate it and save some coinsπ° I know how much work goes into making garments, so when I do occasionally go shopping for clothes, I think so much harder about the work and care that goes into it. βοΈπ§΅ . . Yesterday in my stories I had you all guess what I was making with the 3 fabrics that I posted. The categories to pick from were, bikinis, headwraps, jumpsuits or summer dresses. βοΈ . . Out of all the votes, Only 1 person picked summer dresses and it was @ros3_red β€οΈ my friend you know me so well. ππ . . It had a lot of fun making this smocked bodice pink gingham dress. It was inspired by @daily_sleeper its listed on their website for a whopping $320. The fabric for my replica only cost my $32 plus 2 hrs to make π€ . . Which do you like more? Mine or theirs? Mine has pockets ππΏ not sure if theirs do. Can you even tell the difference between the two? Would you rock this dress, if so how would you style it? #tribeofkin #memademay2020 https://www.instagram.com/p/CAsWzFwD0dO/?igshid=17xs7nvqc0gnd
