So despite travel chaos due to Great Western and taxis, managed to make it to the Shire today and it sounds like it was a miracle show. So major thanks to everyone involved in the production who managed to make it work, especially Tricia Adele-Turner who stood in for Arwen with so little rehearsal time and killed it!
And also major thanks to the lovely person at the box office who I spoke to from the side of the M4 about arriving late for reassuring us that the journey was worth it.
