Hey there! I was wondering if you or your followers have any suggestions for cleaning an area rug that's far too big to put in the washing machine. I've been keeping an eye on Unfuck Your Habitat for awhile. My room is now organized and maintainable and beautiful and my mother likes it so much she wants to move in. For someone who's always had too much stuff, too little space, and not enough motivation to clean? MAGIC. Unfortunately, there are some stains on my beloved big braided rug. Help?
It might be worth renting a steam cleaner and giving it a good thorough cleaning to start and then keeping up with regular vacuuming and spot treatment as necessary.
