Helping a newcomer into the hobby
I had the most awesome day.
Shooting aerial video and pictures, but more importantly helping someone who has just started in the hobby flying a tricopter, (his tricopter is on the left with black props)
It was the first time he had flown his machine, the tricopter had the same flight board as mine, the KK2, we took some baseline settings from my KK2 and input them into his, then flew it and tweaked as required.
Soon we had it dialled in and he asked me if I would like to try it, so I did and took it up to where I normally fly my machine.... wow, that's all I could say, its well built and balanced, so smooth.
After I landed it, he took it up again and this time instead of low level hovering, he was flying almost as high as I do, not bad for someone who had never flown before, he was well pleased and will be flying again soon.
Moral of the story, a little help and advice can go a long way.
