trident separatism
trident separatism is a term i coined to describe my relation with the entire LGBT community. which is basically separation and isolation.
for years i've been experiencing hostility from almost every part of the community, specifically:
lesbians saying trans men can be lesbians and lesbians can be attracted to us, and even dictating the entire community around for the sake of some sort of supremacy gays treating trans men as a second sort because for them we're just "fun experiments" or even worse, women. bisexuals clinging in along with the gays treating us like women (especially male-preferring bisexuals, thanks for nothing!) trans women being so self-centered both in trans community AND the entire LGBT community everything has to revolve around them (you hear so many times of "transmisogyny" but nothing about "transmisandry" to the point it's all normalized)
LGBT community simply decided any sign of masculinity in trans men is evil and we are not welcome. so be it.
trident separatism is a term EXCLUSIVE for trans men, separated from the rest of LGBT either voluntarily or by force. it does not include masculine non-binaries or any MOGAI bullshit trying to parade anywhere around the concept of a trans man. make your own term.
TL:DR - trident separatism is when you're a trans guy and you don't feel connected to the LGBT community due to the transmisandry in the spaces.
