"Would you believe me if I said I saw your family...
“That that. Anyways, yeah, it was one of those birds with the orange beaks.”
“Sh-shut up. You know I hate repeating words. And stop comparing my nose to a beak!”
Doctor’s Cure
八十 After years of playing baseball, Yamamoto is pretty sure he understands when an injury is worth worrying over. What would earn him a visit to the nurse's office opposed to landing him in a hospital. And although head-injuries are usually cause for concern, he's pretty sure that's not the case here.
His bat had split with the latest home-run he'd hit (albeit it was only practice), and a shard had sliced him pretty good just above his left eye. It bled quite a bit from being his head alone, but it really didn't hurt all that badly. Hence why he found himself here, a teammate at his side as they entered the school's infirmary, paper-towels a temporary fix pressed to his cut. "Yo! Its been a while, Sensei." Yamamoto is still smiling in spite of all this, giving a little wave to the doctor seated just inside. Hopefully he would make an exception in treating a boy that day...
not-dad-but-still-a-significant-improvement-over-real-dad is back.
“Really why is that idiot back already- even if I’m not so angry at him anymore, he’s still embarrassing...” She groans, sighs, and takes a seat before continuing to vent. “It’s not that I missed being with him or being in a relationship with him or anything of the sort, but there are a few positives for Shamal returning. He’s good company. A moocher, but fun.
I wonder how long it will take before his attention shifts to another woman. The playful flirting is fine, but there are certain women that seem to crave that attention and quite frankly, they can get it from someone else.”
"I see you. You know, you should ask before showing up at my lab."
Verde held her finger down on an intercom button as a certain doctor's face popped up on the monitor. He had been loitering for two minutes- five at the most, primping himself as if he were preparing for an interview. Verde stalled herself before opening the doors. A sweet canned coffee drink that was more dairy than coffee was snapped open as her attention shifted between him and her beverage.
"It's been a long time since I last saw you, Shamal," She paused to take a sip. "If you're here to hide from a girl, then I'm making you pilot one of my new machines."
"I thought you were only friends with your computers and finished homework."
Remember how nice she was earlier for not hitting you in the nose? Remember?
You blew it. She has a lot of good reasons to hit you but let’s call this a boiling point as she backhands you square in the face.

gropes right boob. “You were saying?”
She doesn't even need to look up at him before elbowing Shamal in the sternum. See? She's being nice and not hitting higher or lower.
