She was born to the ocean's upper realms, where sunlight still touches stone and memory—but even so, she feels the pull of deeper waters. What compels her ever deeper isn't duty or destiny. It's wonder.
Something calls to her from below. Something ancient. Something true.
Her descent isn't a fall. It's a calling.
What lies beyond this first league? She doesn't know. But she'll go deeper still.
