As A Reminder:

I am disappointed to learn she has not changed much if at all over these years. I was hopeful since there was a long stretch with no submissions or updates but alas. The good news is, to those more recently affected by her, you are not alone. You are free to rant/vent to me at anytime, either privately or on here.
BUT that is just another reason why this blog still exists and will continue to do so.

Well this is a difficult thing to prove one way or the other though I do agree the timing is odd. For this I will caution people once more on their decision to help or not. She has already mentioned that she is very behind on commissions and she has made similar claims of 'leaving home/being kicked out' that turned out to be BS however who knows, this could be that one cry of wolf that actually has teeth. *shrug*
To Maia, I would suggest not going to a con if you are honestly trying to save. Your time would be better spent finishing the commissions you have, selling what you can, and properly preparing yourself for your 'move'.
As for the last part, yes, as I recall she was with her grandparents that are like her real parents to her, (last I've heard, anyway).

This is Crecious’s speedpaint video, her first one, check out the colors there. Look familiar yes? She later deletes these colors after noticing that they are there in another video. If there’s any wip shots from her art previously, well, line it up with this. Some proof perhaps.
Blog Commentary: There isn’t anything to out of the ordinary regarding those colors. Those are actually, as we had been informed and had observed, the colors that Crecious uses for the current OC, Blu, as the title of the image shows. If you compare it to AirFare or Tri-Engine, there really is not much similarities based on color. What does link them is to Maia’s passions such as travel and airlines.
I would have a difficult time categorizing myself as a “victim” in the Maia scenario. That being said, my life was deeply changed by my interaction with her and I do feel that my efforts to help were for naught. But I think what bothers me and why I’m even writing anything here is this… I reached out to someone I met through Maia and got no response. I don’t want anything from this person. All I have EVER wanted was to be a friend and it always made me sad to see how Maia treated him but I figured that there was never any point to saying anything because of the almost fanatical support this person had for Maia. I don’t know if there is still fear that I am associated with her (I’m not, if for no other reason than all of my help, suggestions and attempts to provide wise counsel fell on deaf ears) or if this person always simply tolerated me because of our mutual connection to Maia.
I tried to help someone. I tried to do what was right. And the end result is that my significant other has declared that we will never do anything similar for anyone else in need ever again, even if the need is proven genuine. And I can’t imagine that destroying someone’s faith in humanity to that level is a good thing.
