here are some fun facts:
kitty is really damaged and dark and introverted because her mother's boyfriend began molesting her once he moved in
a lot
he convinced her that she would get in trouble too if she told, so she kept quiet for a little but it soon became too much to handle so she finally just told her mom
her mother refused to believe it because of how desperately she wanted someone to help support her after kitty's father died, so even when she was sure that he was raping her, she ignored it and eventually began preparing her own daughter to be molested and putting makeup on and dressing her up and doing her hair, just so he would be satisfied and not leave her
after seeing he could do it freely, he became more agressive torwards her, and the molestation became more and more frequent that she finally just had enough and figured there was nothing she could do so she simply accepted it
this went on for a few years until she could finally stand up for herself and tell someone and they finally believed her
after this she was taken from her house and both her mother and father were charged with child molestation and she was bounced from foster home to foster home, never truly having a place to call her own
she is now 20 and has found a way to channel all of her pain into her poetry but it will never be loud enough
