SEA SHEPHERD: MY Brigette Bardot
If you gave this craft a pair of jet engines she would fly- she's knife-like and edgily sleek.
Originally designed and raced as an endurance craft for circumnavigating the world, the sleek lines and shapes of the Brigitte Bardot make her look suited to long range stealth-and-reconnaissance air missions. Indeed when she was matte black and named Gojira she seemed to bear an uncanny resemblance to an SR-71. Nowadays she's a chase ship for the Sea Shepherd in replacement of MY Ady Gil and though slower, she's a little more stable for her size and length. Crewed by seven to ten in close quarters. She was damaged late last year by a rogue wave and after being successfully doctored, now she's waiting to head out to the South Pacific for anti-shark finning patrol.
I don't have as many pictures of her due to her being a little more reactive to the busy waters of the Quay then the heavy-sitting Bob Barker. It was fun getting on and off via her port side wing as it dipped and jumped in the wake of the passing ferries, but once on board those pontoons did their job and kept her surprisingly stable. She sits fantastically low to the water and would be damn hard to spot coming in her new psuedo-navy greys.
