Arrival

“Qu’as-tu appris?”

Oui, I’ve learned to breathe slow but think fast

That taking time doesn’t really last. 

And not to cloud my own judgment about life. 

I’ve quieted the trickle of doubts that seep in past my own and learned to eschew other’s peoples burdens yet inspire their growth alone.

There’s a light that resonates within me and I must protect it beyond any impression of danger. 

I am aware now that I am a luminary 

And prosperity to me, is no stranger.

hearts floating in mid air with no intent of coming down soon
