I know it has been FOREVER since I last posted anything. For the most part this painting is to blame. I don’t really know why I struggled with it so much, but it put up a fight.
But it is done now. And I am happy.

At the end of January, Trinity Crest officially turned a year old!
For Stacie and me, it has been in the works for much longer than just one year. The two of us met in the fall of 2006 and during the winter holidays, we started coming up with ideas for a fantasy story with friends. Trinity Crest wasn't always what it is now; it has greatly changed and matured since its creation. It has been drawn and redrawn, written and rewritten, progressing with Stacie and I as our skills developed.
And now, we can finally share it with the world! We are currently coming off a very long hiatus. Life kind of hit us both, but now we're working on Chapter 2 and hope to be updating regularly again. Until then, please feel free to share this recap of the past two chapters and spread the word! We'd love more readers!
In the Prologue, we got a glimpse of the threat that is secretly growing within the dark corners of the continent Eboreos. We are also introduced to Legion, a mysterious hunter who may know more than he lets on.
Chapter 1 begins in the elven kingdom of Baequi, where an eternal summer reigns. For hundreds of years since the previous war, Baequi has enjoyed peace, the dense forest surrounding the borders keeping outsiders at bay. But after a strange disease (the first to plague an elf in years) creeps into the territory, the Baequi Royal Family is immediately notified.
It is during this meeting that Legion and the princess of Baequi, Lindi meet. Little do they know that fate will force them to work together in order to prevent turmoil from spreading throughout their world...
You can follow our blog here or on Facebook for updates, artwork and all sorts of other stuff. You can read Trinity Crest on both SmackJeeves and Tapastic. You can also watch the mini-review by our friend Riiser, the Webcomic Relief, right here!
Once we start up again, we will hopefully be updating on Fridays like we used to! That being said, we appreciate your support so far and hope for more in the future! Thanks again!
With the news of InkBlazers shutting down, Sam wanted to find a secondary website to host Trinity Crest on. After a bit of research, we've decided to give Tapastic a try!
You can click the link above to read and if you have an account on Tapastic, feel free to follow us! We're still on hiatus, especially while the holidays are upon us. Thanks again for being patient and we hope to see you soon!
We're not dead yet!
Sorry for the delay in content. We are currently coming off of a very long hiatus and launching ourselves into the work for Chapter 2.
Thank you so much for your patience and we hope to see you then!

I have decided to participate in INKtober. I don't draw traditionally very often, and i hardly ever sketch, so i figure this is a good opportunity to do both. None of these took me more than an hour (Castiel in day 7 is the exception)
I will post the next 10 on the 20th, and again on the 30th!
The Webcomic Relief recently reviewed Trinity Crest for his Strippin' series! We're so glad he took our suggestion into consideration and really appreciate the critique he offered! This is actually the first outside criticism we've received, so it really meant a lot. :)
Thanks so much, Riiser!
- Sam and Stacie
Hello everyone! We're getting closer and closer to the end of chapter 1 and things are about to get real! Stacie and I would like to thank those of you who have been with us from the beginning, but for those of you who are just joining Trinity Crest, we thought we'd make a post to introduce things a little better!
What is Trinity Crest?
Trinity Crest is a fantasy webcomic about a fictional world known as Eboreos. A war has split the continent into territories and strict laws have been put in place to discourage breeding between races. But prejudice and hostilities between the people are just the start of the true danger. A mysterious disease, once contained and kept in secrecy, has begun to spread to humans, elves, half-breeds and all creatures alike. Gripping its victims with an unquenchable thirst for flesh and blood, it may very well mean the end for everyone. But in a world that is already so ignorant and judgmental, who can possibly stand up to the approaching calamities?
Meet Legion, a wandering half-breed that seems to be in search of something. Not much is known about him and his intentions are unclear, but one thing is for certain - he has a strong connection to the disease and knows far more than he lets on.
Lindethiel Caelna (or just Lindi for short) is the princess of a secluded kingdom called Baequi, where many high elves make their home. She has never left her home and has lived a sheltered life until she crosses paths with Legion. Their meeting quickly turns her life upside down and before she knows it, she must learn to fight for survival and step beyond the boundaries of the place she once called home. Although their alliance seems unlikely, the two have only each other to rely on in a world that is rotting before their very eyes. A unique world and a colorful cast of characters await Legion and Lindi on their journey and we hope you'll tune in to join them! Stacie Pitt, the artist of the comic, has a BFA in illustration and currently works as an assistant under the award-winning Todd Lockwood. Sam Miyake (me) is the writer of the comic and I uh...I don't really think I have many accomplishments in that field other than the fact that I've practically been telling stories since I could talk.
As always, you can follow our blog here or on Facebook for updates, artwork and all sorts of other stuff. You can read Trinity Crest on both SmackJeeves and InkBlazers. We update usually every Friday! That being said, we appreciate your support so far and hope for more in the future! :D Thanks again, everyone!
Maybe the jerk tied to the chair was right...
She shouldn't have gone in there.
