The food bank continues to appeal for tinned goods. There is a special appeal for aid to Israel and to Ukraine, and to the persecuted in Syria and Iraq; and those suffering, and those combating the pandemic, in West Africa. Humanitarian aid to the civil population in Gaza is also being accepted, both through the Church and through the joint appeal undertaken by Mr Salmon and Mr Mirza.
Remember in prayer the faithful departed. Special intentions this week for the innocent in war zones, and those repelling aggression, and for the Fallen of 1914 – 1918. Special intentions this week (SS Simon and Jude) for missions. There is none who is ill in the three parishes this week: give thanks to God for his mercy. Pray for the Church, for all who mean to serve her and her bridegroom which is Christ, and those who are maintaining the rights of conscience therein.
