A Wave Frozen in Time

So I've got this trinket jar that I've been working on filling up for years. I just love collecting random little trinkets. I always have. This thing is like a time capsule and I'm about to show you why.

At some point I put this huge leaf earring in there and it was blocking the view of a lot of smaller things, so I decided to take it out. It was pretty far in there and I didn't want to dump the whole jar out, so I only dumped out enough to wedge a long pair of tweezers down in there to pull it out.

In the process I found one of the first pairs of earrings I ever had. I had forgotten I even put them in the jar. I went through a period (probably about ten years) where I didn't wear earrings. It just wasn't my thing for a while. But I bet I haven't worn this particular pair in about twenty years. They were always my favorite pair when I was growing up and now I can wear them again!
