Back in Athens, baby! Made it through trip three and now I’ve got a week to recover and prep for the next one. There’s no food in the house so I ordered noodles and I am so excited to eat them once they arrive :)

Pictured: a good ol’ view through a hole in a fortress wall, from Larisa, one of Argos’ two acropoleis
On the road again, like One Direction in 2015, this time to the Argolid & Corinthia.

Pictured: the water feature on the bus (very strange sink no one has ever used/probably doesn’t work) filled with Argive gold: oranges!
Today as we were leaving a remote site we passed some guys packing up oranges and they stopped the bus to give us a whole crate’s worth. And then the bus driver stopped to get mandarins, so we are literally rolling in hundreds of glorious vitamin c spheres
Today was p brutal, ngl. I got my period unexpectedly yesterday and overnight I developed a nasty cold, and making it through all 9+ hours of site visits was rough. (I probably slammed 5 or 6 oranges in desperation, they were basically the only thing I could fathom eating) I do have to say tho, bc I am literally an evangelist on this front, that I cannot imagine living my life without a menstural cup. Unequivocally one of the most life-changing objects I’ve ever purchased.

Pictured: proof that I was at Mycenae—requisite Lion Gate photo//yet another landscape shot
Today was all Mycenae all day long, and the best part was getting past the ropes to see the cult center, so cool! We finished the day with a gorgeous ~5 mile hike.
