Listen to the wavvvvessss
Let them wash away your pain
Saw you in a dream
Some of my favorites
Overthinker
I get lost in the light so high, I don't wanna come down...
to face the loss of the good thing that I have found
Sick of talk talk talkin about it

At peace
Had the trip of a lifetime with my soulmate this past 24 hours. The emotion that LSD allows our minds to access would be unfathomable to my former self. It has truly changed the way I'm able to accept and reflect on my emotions, my future, my past, my relationships, and anything else that falls under the category of "life". I have found so much confusion as I've tried to sort through the aftermath of where LSD allows my mind to roam. It sweeps up every sense you have and throws them into a whirlwind in your consciousness. Good and bad seem to fade away and things just begin to BE. What we found when we collided into each other throughout this shared experience was a simple truth... neither of us could possibly live without the other. Through trust, respect, and unconditional love, we have bound our souls together in a way that nothing could ever pull them apart. I looked through my flooding tears into into his flooding eyes as this song played and I could see everything I could ever want or need in my life right in front of me... and after 7 years we watched ourselves fall madly in love with each other all over again. The song is called Brooklyn by The Midnight and the lyrics are as follows:
There's traffic on the bridge
But the skyline shines with a certain light
I know you're sick of it
But I know a happy hour nearby
And there's a possibility
That one day things'll get better, for
The huddled masses in between
The shadows and the stars
Floating empire, held up by fraying wire
I'll cover you in winter like a blanket by the fire
When the rent's too high, we'll just buy cheaper wine
And hang on to see if whether
The constellations hold together or not
Four years in Brooklyn
And happy birthday darlin'
When we feel young again
I'd like to take you dancing
'Cause there's a possibility
That one day things'll get better, for
The huddled masses in between
The shadows and the stars
And there's a possibility
We'll both go down together
Free ourselves from gravity
And tumble through the dark
Floating empire, held up by fraying wire
I'll cover you in winter like a blanket by the fire
And when the rent's too high, we'll just buy cheaper wine
And hang on to see if whether
The constellations hold together or not
I never placed too much faith in the stars
I never placed too much faith in my heart
But the siren call in this chandelier city
And inch by inch we're breaking apart
As we're rising through the dark
From the sky I bet the lights look pretty
Floating empire, held up by fraying wire
I will cover you in winter like a blanket by the fire
And when the rent's too high, we'll just buy cheaper wine
Hang on to see if whether
The constellations hold together or not
Or not
This trip hand-delivered us the song we've decided to play for our first dance at our wedding (whenever that may be) and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life looking back on this piece of our story and remembering the trip that redefined our love. @mrbrickwall69
