Ulleungdo - Day 3 &4, May 2017
People in Ulleungdo said, “It’s up to you to come here, but it’s not to leave.” YES, so true. Originally, our trip was 2 nights and 3 days stay but because of wild waves, we could not get out of the island on the 3rd day. Finally, we managed to leave on the very next day yet since nobody knew when we can leave at that time, the wait was never easy !
Day 3 : Seonginbong
On the 3rd day, we went to the highest mountain called Seonginbong (987m). Oh, don’t get me wrong. We went half way to the top :)
It is gorgeous to watch both sea and mountain at a glance.

The dinner menu was local beef and believe me, I had the best beef in my life here :)
It was a lovely night - I was happy to chat with my family. Even though we live together, we do not have much time to talk each other and share thoughts.
The breeze at night in front of the port was warm as if it were cheering us.
Day 4 : Leave
It became time to leave. Every visitor would have each thought on the island. What was mine? I was amazed by its beauty and uniqueness. It has appeals that city dwellers could never experience often.
I thought the only problem of visiting Ulleungdo was accessibility, but no worries- the airport will be ready by 2020. I believe that the air trip will boost visits.
I arrived back to Gangneung port safely. The END !!!
