looking back on episode one, the moment that rick and michonne reunite during her kicking his ass, you could see rick physically give up after trying to defend himself once. his body language is so exhausted and lackadaisical and michonne just tugs him upwards by his collar and he just lets her do so! still being unknown to the fact that he was in the loving hands of his wife (despite the minor wwe smackdown). that scene alone just laid out the foundation for rick’s internal damage and distress from all of the trauma that has built up over the years of being apart from his wife and family. there’s so many fucking layers to this series y’all. sooo many layers to HIM. my poor sugar plum pookie bear 😣 please get him and his wife home safely, this man is on the brink of complete disaster!!!!!!!

showing baby carl disappear was the final straw for me. only the real people will understand how serious that was. that was and is his BABY. this stupid fucking fascist military hellsite forced that poor man to forget — FORGET — his own child’s appearance, and then his wife’s too!!!!!! rick is the strongest man, and i hold him in my heart deeply because the torture, let alone grievance of carl’s death was already pivotal enough. add getting your brain put into a blender so much that you end up losing remembrance of your deceased child. i’d want to die inside too the fuck.
