@triquestar / STARTER.
they’d come into work that morning to find that hajoon had cancelled his meetings after four in the afternoon. a note had been on their desk to book into a restaurant in the evening. one that valarie knew was expensive - they could remember booking him in last time. and that was also when they were notified of a charge that equated to just over 3 million won. it wasn’t that much for him to spend. except that it was tracked to one of their stores. there was no reason for hajoon to be actually buying products like that.
he’d never been so irresponsible before. at first they wanted to justify this as a suspicious charge, and perhaps he wanted to take his family out for dinner. but when they asked if he’d made the purchase, they were surprised by his admittance that he had. it hadn’t taken much longer for them to get a name out of him. and it had taken even less time for them to find out enough about this hak jiwoon.
fashion college, twenty years old, and certainly not from any kind of wealthy family. it was evident extortion. hajoon was too hopelessly romantic to see anything else. instead they’d gone to him, instead. they didn’t want to see hajoon hurt by some lowlife that wanted nice things.
they were hesitantly directed by a what they assumed was the receptionist to where jiwoon was currently taking class. the woman had explained it to the teacher, who had looked rather perplexed. after it looked like the teacher was going to turn them away, they decided they didn’t really have to time for this. they didn’t really care if this was interrupting their class.
‘ hak jiwoon. on behalf of your professor, i’m excusing you from this class. we need to talk about some things. ‘ she struggled to identify which one he was. they were all a little energetic to look at, and they hadn’t paid attention to his photos. ‘ i don’t really care to waste my time here. come. ‘
